Nick Saban, a name you might know, says that Smart is one of the brightest young minds in CFB and will be successful. You might know better than coach Saban. But I'm going with his judgement for now.

Saban said Dooley was doing a great job as well. Pittman and Chaney were on Dools staff as well. We missed bowl games with those two

If our HC was in the position that your HC is in, I damn sure would't be making any "boat race" comments. I think there's a very good possibility that CBJ could be fired and face criminal charges. You can't interfere with police investigations. Even if you have a liaison and are a HC.

Just because CBJ spoke with the police and AJ means nothing. Even if the detective informed him they were investigating it still means nothing. People are told by the law enforcement everyday investigations are ongoing before a search warrant is ever issued.

People are aware of being accused of crimes on a cases daily. It might be days or even weeks before enough evidence is gathered to issue a search warrant. Is it a crime that the officers informed them or their attorneys of an investigation before a search warrant is issued?

Don't be a d!ck. There was no cheap shot whatsoever on Chubb....zip....zero....nada. He landed awkwardly and torqued the hell out of knee without realky being hit at all. It was unfortunate and we all felt bad for Nick....great player and seems like a great kid.

The only cheap hit was your guy holding and then chop blocking Shy Tuttle who was running away from him (he's still wearing a f#^*ing boot 6 months later btw). He dove at Tuttle's knees while Shy was disengaging and not even looking at him. THAT was a low-class, low character, disgraceful hit. GTFO with that dishonest crap.

1. Derek Dooley also hired Sam Pittman and Chaney.
2. Derek Dooley also had a dad in coaching.

4. Why will it be a boat race in Athens? It should have been one in Knoxville. Y'all had two fluke touchdowns in the punt return with a block in the back and a 99 yard fumble return. Take those 14 away and give us 7 that's easily a 45-14 game. Oh yeah, we bring back everybody. Good luck October 1.

2) Even if you cherry pick plays to add 21 points to a 7 point win that wasn't decided until the last play of the game, that adds up to 28 points, not 31. Georgia fans could cherry pick the 4th down at midfield with 2-1/2 minutes that UT wouldn't have been going for if not down 3 TDs, the subsequent fumbled kickoff that turned into another UT TD right before the half, and the dropped TD pass on the last drive. There are a handful of missed/made plays that determine every game.

Having said that, Tennessee should be the clear favorite in the East in 2016. I guess we'll still play the games though.

The best approach as a fan to this whole case is just to ignore it until we see how it all gets resolved. There's plenty we don't know and anything being discussed right now is hearsay and conjecture. I have no dog in the fight - I just want it resolved and justice to be served.

If the evidence proves CBJ broke the law and he's fired, so be it. If not, then let's let this rest.

Until then, I think we should just stick to football talk.
