Has anyone else noticed that there seems to be a new article written about a Tennessee player or the team from ESPN every other day or something. Amazing when you start having a roster with NFL talent and seem to be a team projected to do well how that will happen

Okay since this is the football recruiting forum thread (not the golf/Masters), who is the next to commit? Or can anyone predict the month that someone, anyone might commit? Lots of high-profile kids making stops in Knoxville and seemingly loving their visits, but all I am hearing about is GA and Clemson buzz... what gives? Lawsuit looming? Hope some kids are waiting for the spring game to commit and create some much needed positive Buzz in K-town.

I've never understood this whole anti-soccer attitude. Certainly NOT just you, Sam. It's by far the most popular sport in the world. Wait, I get it now. You all are just mad that they named it football FIRST! HAHA!

I love soccer. And, while it is the most popular sport worldwide, I believe that is because in many countries that love soccer, it's all they have. We in the U.S. Have so many sports to choose from, and even different levels within those sports. Europe, in reality, has soccer, golf, and tennis.

I've been watching the golf channel and everyone they interview, including players and gold personalities from all over the globe, says that the Masters is the most special event in all of sports. And that Augusta National is the most special venue. I've been to the Masters many, many times. But if I hadn't it would be at the top of my bucket list. I guess Wimbleton would be a distant second. Maybe the British Open 3rd.

USA would be so good in soccer if all the athletes didn't play Basketball and Football. Soccer is better than baseball that's for damn sure

I disagree. The US hasn't lost many soccer games because the other teams had better athletes, it's the difference in actual technical skill. Europeans take youth soccer completely differently than us and it pays off for their national teams. European youth club teams spend way more time practicing, but don't play nearly as many games as American club teams and that's gives them more time to practice fundamentals.

The Masters is not run by the PGA. Those guys run their own tournament. The field this year has less than 90 players. And yes---they are elite :}:}:}.

Yea my post was referring to their tv stipulations.

Don't they control the amount of time it's aired live?

I thought that's what I remembered
