Yes, they only show afternoon play, even on the weekends. I think they are also commercial free; I think occasionally they take a quick break for a sponsor. They run on one year contracts with CBS and ESPN. Augusta National obviously can make much more money than they do, but they want to preserve the dignity of its tournament and not make it into a commercial event.

I have been twice to practice rounds, with the most recent being in 2010. The concessions are still very reasonable (maybe even same prices for years). I found the merchandise to be reasonable as well, considering it is the only place you can get it.

Agree. Miles will need to sort out the QBs for them to win the west. And I would never write off Bama. They don't rebuild, just retool.

I disagree. The US hasn't lost many soccer games because the other teams had better athletes, it's the difference in actual technical skill. Europeans take youth soccer completely differently than us and it pays off for their national teams. European youth club teams spend way more time practicing, but don't play nearly as many games as American club teams and that's gives them more time to practice fundamentals.

They went 9-3 and return 18 starters. They lost Mills, Alexander, and Hawkins. Plenty of playmakers. I'd take UT over them, though.
