Butch Jones is literally one of the least equipped coaches for the NFL in college football. That's no slight against him either, lots of coaches are better suited for college.

Definitely agree. He's sort of like a poor mans Chip Kelly at this point.

I think Brett Biliema would be more likely to go to Auburn than Butch Jones. I just don't think he will ever make Arkansas an annual contender but would have more resources at AU. Idk how Auburn fans would like his style though. And idk if he's done enough for them to want him.

Bare minimum of two rings. 3-4 was very doable.

The facts are if CBJ wins 11, SEC Title, Natty and other teams including the NFL come after him that is very good news for UT. IF CBJ left, and that's a big IF UT is in a much better position with a stacked roster and a much better financial position to go out a get another very good if not better coach.

Totally agree.

Would love to give Dooley another shot and see what he could actually do with a talented roster.

Butch Jones has paid the price to change the entire culture to that of a winner at UTK. Unless we just simply failed to pony the dough, he will be the coach at UT.

I agree with the person that brought up NFL. That is the only option along with a revamped Michigan that Harbaugh will leave behind that I can see him leaving for.

I honestly think Butch would not even consider another school unless it is a top 5 program because he has this program at a top 5-10 level right now and seems to be enjoying watching his "baby" grow and mature. Auburn is not even a top 20 program imo.

Agreed. And kick Shoop to the curb so we can bring back Sunseri. See what that attacking, multiple defense would look like with some real athletes.

Leaving now would solidify Jones as a rebuilding recruiter, not a winner. I don't think that's him. He fired some close friends because he wants to win championships here and I think he sticks around if he start winning.

Also, its not like UT isn't going to pony up the money if he starts winning.
