I think 10-2 is the fairest expectation, but anything from 12-0 and 8-4 are above 0% chances. 8-4 is highly unlikely, maybe 2%.

Plus they have leadership issues. QBs leaving like crazy and they just seem flat out SOFT. You all saying we lose 2 games are fine. You're by yourself but fine. Lol I just know we've got THE team top to bottom in the SEC this year. Only question mark for us is at WR and if a playmaker will be found(talent is there for sure). Far less problems than anyone else on the schedule. And the talent is at every position plus it's experienced talent. I'm ready to get the ball rolling this fall. 😁

We have the WR's. And I believe that if they let him then PW can flat out dominate. JS will be good this year, too. Really wish we could have at least 2 WR's show up this fall and have great years. That would mean we go to ATL and most likely beyond.

Those are good expectations.

More is possible.

Agree.

We have control over those things. We can beat Florida and we can win the East without having any outside help.

Winning the SECCG and getting to the playoffs have other unknown factors that are outside of our control.

I just want to beat Florida and get to Atlanta. I would be tickled pink with 10-2, beat the Gators and go to SECCG.

OT, DT and WR/passing game are concerns. If we can solidify those areas we could have a special year. Big "if" though.

5 wins in 2014, 7 wins in 2015, 9 wins in 2016, 11 wins in 2017.

Losses to Bama, UGA/AM, and then Bama/LSU in SEC Championship game.

Win against Notre Dame in bowl game.

We will be favored in every game but one this season. It is highly unlikely UT goes 8-4. Last year's team went 8-4 with less talent, less depth, a more difficult schedule, and a lesser coaching staff.

2% is low. We have an injury to Dobbs and a starting tackle on both sides of the ball and look down thru our schedule.

Barring major, early season injuries to Dobbs and/or Hurd, I agree. This year's team is loaded with talent and veteran leadership. It's the best team on paper we've had since the early 2000s. I think we roll. 10-2 is my floor for this team. I think that pack of 4 games with UF, UGA, A&M and Bama will be very tough to come out of unscathed, but otherwise we can throw our helmets on the field and beat everyone else IMO. I think we're that good.

I think we are going to beat the hell out of A&M. They generally collapse at about the time we play them anyway.

Also, Appalachian State is the 6th toughest game on our schedule this year. I would take them straight up to beat UK, Vandy, South Carolina, and Missouri this year.

Even when you have the most talent, it is hard to get up and ready to go week in and week out. You will have a couple of games where it seems it is stacked against you and you are moving in slow motion and they are not. A team you should blow out but now you are fighting for your life in the last few minutes.

Think of the USC game last year and how close that was to a loss. Or, when we beat them when North made a crazy catch. That was a top 10 SC team that year. To go undefeated takes some fortune to make it happen. You can win an NC with one loss.

This team like any other will need some good fortune to win it all. They could lose twice and it would still be a great season. No one can predict injuries but great teams with depth will find a way to win. I will reserve judgement till the end of the year but a 10-11 win season after all we have been thru would be very enjoyable. Don't forget where we came from.
