If he isn't here he doesn't count against the 85.

I have a feeling some news about this is going to come out today and it isn't going to look good for us. Oklahoma is the rumored destination

I've got Bruin on ignore...but I can guess that he is probably trying to spin the Corey Henderson thing as a bad thing for Butch and staff. Just a gut feeling.

Depends on what the truth is

If he didn't qualify that's on him and he will end up at a juco.

If he ends up at another D1 we clearly cut him due to numbers and that will look very very negatively on cbj.

Let's wait and see what happens

Vq says he is heading to juco presumably because he isn't a qualifier.

The kid himself is telling another site he is heading to OU which could only happen if we cut him loose.

So we will see what the truth is soon

Yea it doesn't make much sense. I am hopeful for our sake that the kid is just making up going to OU to cover up his academic issues. This won't look good for us if he is telling the truth

Like Orlando brown right? Except OU's academic entry requirements are one of the lowest in college football and we hold our new enrollees to a higher standard

Butch has already proven he will cut a kid before he signs in the past (surely you of all people know this). Why wouldn't he just cut him before he signs if he didn't want the kid?

@bruin


If Corey doesn't sign it's one of two reasons, 1) academic, 2) he got in trouble


I haven't heard anything about this situation ftr

Perhaps the 85# didn't work itself out like he assumed with attrition or the draft?
