This coach has only been here one year but came from a school in GA. Just wondering what the competition is like.

Question for those familiar with GA hs football. The coach at our county hs in Paducah was offered the job at Wayne County HS and I was wondering what type of football program they have. This coach has only been here one year but came from a school in GA. Just wondering what the competition is like.

GA is going to 7 classes this year so it is changing up all the regions. I looked at Waynes and the are now going to be AAAAA and in the same region as Ware County which is always a really good team. They have a great non region schedule playing Valdosta and Brunswick. Wayne was down last year, but played in the semi finals just three years ago in the old AAAA.
It Is close to the coast and only about 50 miles to St Simons and kind of half way between Savannah and Jacksonville.

Does June still count as "Way too Early" for college football? Our vote: yes. So in Mark Schlabach's updated Way-too-Early Top 25, Baylor drops out and Tennessee jumps into the top 10.

Still not sure about Michigan being as high as they are, but that's JMO. I'm a little surprised there is no mention of Hurd/Kamara in the brief excerpt on UT.

They had a tall senior.
