How does that clown still have credentials? He asks about every message board rumor. Does he ask other questions too or only things he reads on here?

Its super aggravating. Everyone asks like a quick question and waits for a response. He goes into a dissertation with every question and it could not be more annoying

Butch says shuffling the offensive line against Virginia Tech was "pre-planned" rather than a reaction.

“I anticipate us mixing some lineups up and trying to find the right mix." - Butch on the OL.

This guy lies through his teeth all the time.

I seriously hope he learns from his mistakes.

As of now he just looks hard headed to a fault.

9/24 is the biggest day in Butch's life. You better believe he's going to play the guys who will give him the best chance to win.

If playing Colton Jumper costs us the Florida game, Butch Jones should be FIRED ON THE SPOT.

Its unacceptable to keep handing victories to your biggest rival.

Butch Jones handed them victory last year. Do it again this year and he should be gone. PERIOD.

it was heavy special teams work and some individual drills during the scant portions open to media, with dylan wiesman and coleman thomas notably getting center-quarterback exchange and snap work with joshua dobbs. Jack jones has continued his good week of practice last week with more of the same this week.

The wiesman-jones combo has continued to turn heads, and don’t discount what coleman thomas did as well. The first five ol out for the vols on tuesday were, from left to right, drew richmond, jashon robertson, dylan wiesman, jack jones and brett kendrick.

Just went to the store and bought some condoms for this weekend. When I was checking out the cashier asked if I wanted a bag. I told her, "Nah I'll just turn off the lights."

I think you are very correct unfortunately... this guy is getting bad... not sure what good he thinks is going to come of this-- everyone, and I mean everyone knows he's full of it, yet he continues this bs coach speak to save his butt and not look like they are in panic mode -- he is scared folks perception of him being in control will slip, so he needs to look like he is in control and this is all planned and calculated... the problem is, most folks see right through this-- not encouraging to say the least...
I would love to know if he really got the type of recruit response he is saying after the game... I think this is another example of him covering and looking like things are under control...

Yes, there may be some upside to a weeping coach.

I've seen it mentioned multiple times by people who believe we may be limiting our offense until we face Florida. I don't buy that for a minute. I think what you see is what we'll get. At the very least I'd like to see us run some I-formation with Hurd.

Sure does look like everything is out of control. Must suck to be 2-0.

That's a good one and makes me even more sad if true. Means we can't even run a limited, vanilla offense well. 😣

Butch is probably one of the most genuine coaches out there. He constantly is praised by recruits for his truthfulness and honesty. Some posters simply don't like the current commits or they don't like the on field product right now and want to think that Butch has all these secrets and is providing misleading information. We don't know what goes on in practice or behind the scenes because we suck as fans and our local media sucks at not jumping on our team and coaches at the slightest opportunity. Butch has to be bland and vanilla with his comments because as soon as he goes off script, even slightly, Colton Jumper's dad turns into a Sith Lord with Darth Purpleface as an apprentice.

I know this is a message board and people can say what they want. However, to say Butch is a liar is the most stupid comment I have seen D4H make. He is in the business of making stupid comments and after that little gem brother business is booming!

I definitely could see some different plays, like in the UF game last year. Does that mean we play a whole different offense than what we have seen? No. But we will see some more creativity at some point.

Agreed. Butch knows how important this game is. That's why we pulled out the jump pass last year.
