Jack Jones and Shy Tuttle are the keys that make the offense and defense go. Both need to start every game from now on. I think they are legitimately worth a 14-point swing. Stop the opponent from scoring a quick 7 and help our offense get out to a quick 7-point lead.

O'brien and vickers both played great in Bristol. Don't see them losing their jobs yet anyway

We'll see if they can keep it up. Tuttle is consistently disruptive.

This is so dramatic. I am a very competitive person, and some of the crap on this forum is just foolish.

KMac might not show up much in the stat lines, but he is eating up those double teams so that whoever is beside him, is most likely a 1 on 1. Shy will win most 1 on 1s he gets, that's for sure.

Agreed but with Vickers coming off his best game he keeps his job IMO for this week

True. It's a good problem to have. Hope we see Welton's praise of AJ show up soon as well.

Having Barnett also allows for less double teams inside. Teams are about to be in for it. If Alexis Johnson what they say we will be super nasty up front. The Florida game is where I expect this defense to grab national attention. People don't respect that unit yet.

It's doesn't really matter who starts. One big advantage of having quality depth is keeping everybody fresh. They're going to rotate a lot of folks. Add Alexis Johnson too the mix too. I seem him improving every week.

I think what's causing people to overlook this defense is the incredible slow starts. Statistically, they are not very impressive but if you look inside the numbers, Shoop has adjusted well and shut everything down.

Scott has experience as an interim head coach. And was good at it too.

Derek Barnett was getting doubled and tripled teamed in the Va. Tech game. Was really opening Tuttle and O'Brien up inside. When he wasn't he was flying in the backfield.
