Unreal. Some of you have already forgotten where this program used to be a few short years ago. I may not agree with his offense and not understand what we are trying to do sometimes, but I won't question him and his coaching abilities until after this year. He's about to have 4 big games in a row to show that he can win games that matter. Do it!

And to add one thing to that: no matter what, he will always have my full respect for being the one willing to take over a once elite program that was in the cellar, and invest the time and energy to bring it back from the ashes. We all owe him that much!

Man I am really rooting for him.

The Florida game is worth so much to this fan base. It's worth so much more than 1 game. If he wins that one I don't see any way this season ends up being a bust. On the other hand, I fear that if we lose that one the fanbase will be spewing venom like never before and he never recovers.

Some people forget where we use to be. We use to complain we didn't win. Now we complain we didn't win by enough. Fans have short memories these days.....

No. It'll be coaching or a catastrophic failure on the part of the players - plural - if we lose.

There aren't too many adjustments you can make when the other guy's horse is straight up better than yours.

Yeah we may win by enough, still there are those that are going to complain it wasn't pretty enough.

Sure he makes mistakes but I'm glad he was hired cause he has done a great job rebuilding this thing which is what we had to have when he was hired.

I don't think his offense will ever allow us to be truly, perennially great. His game management has been suspect too. His recruiting and program management is 2nd to none, IMO.

Put it this way, do you want the other team to break a long run for a touchdown, because we weren't line up right and in the wrong defensive set?

Or would you rather be in position, take your chances in coverage with Jumper covering, and with another safety helping. Also, in obvious passing downs, we won't see Jumper there unless it's for a QB spy.

That's it! Jumper is simply motivation for the D Line. Sort of like when you burn the bridges after the army crosses over...
