Debo doesn't use the middle of the field enough IMO. Especially in a game like today, try to get the offense in rhythm.

Oh it was a poorly called game. I'm just saying that I can think of probably 4 slants we threw. I would have liked to see more TE seam routes. Dobbs did refuse to throw one that was wide open though.

DeBord did the offense no favors today.

I do not think he call a good game, but he was very limited in what he could call. IMO, Kamara needs more touches and Dobbs needs to be allowed to run. But with all the injuries on the line, he may have been protecting Dobbs. Dobbs got roughed up pretty bad in 1st quarter.
Kamara was also limping .

Minus 4 starting OL vs the best front 7 in all
Of football doesn't allow for any options especially when the RB puts his head down on every damn run and heads straight toward contact.

Minus 4 starting OL, 4 of 5 top LBs, Sutton, Foreman, starting DT, etc. I mean that is just insane. Yet somehow we still can go to SEC Championship as i don't see anyway Florida gets through UGA, S. car, Ark and LSU undefeated. UGA will be pissed off for 2 weeks and beat FL

We were down a lot, but there were plenty of options we never tried. Debord had a bad game even considering the injury problems.

This shows how far down Austin Sanders and Charles Mosely are on the depth chart. It seems like one of them could have played guard and had Jack Jones slide out to tackle if needed to preserve Tatum's redshirt.

Far too creative for this staff.

How do we know Sanders and Mosely can't get the job done? Because they are not playing? That means nothing as Boulware has shown. He wasn't playing either until he was. Then he played well.

Most teams get three downs to try and gain 10 for a first down. We get two. It was well into the second half before we even attempted a pass on first down. He continually runs up the gut time and time again with zero production. He makes virtually no adjustments. He calls pass plays that have 3 yard routes when we need 6 yards. He is a pathetic offensive coordinator. He has his plays and he's going to run them hell or high water.

He throws one time down the field to Jennings one on one and if it wasn't for blatant pass interference he would have caught it. I like Jennings in that matchup 100% of the time. He never went back to it. He never got Josh on the edge for run pass options.

One of the many things folks get mad at me for saying is that in this league, you are getting a free education with all the bells and whistles and in return you play football... If you are not getting it done and aren't progressing like you should, you should lose your scholarship, or be put on official notice that you will lose it if things don't change... Big Charles to this point seems to be content on going to class, eating, practicing, and then watching games on the sidelines.... Croom is a bit of a different story, so don't everyone get all BENT, but besides his injuries, the kid really hasn't come even close to his potential... dropped his only pass today AGAIN, right in his hands for a first down... There seems to be a protocol in place when kids want to transfer to other schools and we help find them a new home, so why can't this be the M.O. when a kid is not developing or seeing the field after 2-3 years and we help them find another school where they may be better fitted, instead of wasting a scholly here...?

Watching Ole Miss vs Arkansas... how does everyone else in the SEC seem to have plenty of good O lineman/Depth and we can barely field a starting 5, but with injuries we are toast? Wouldn't you think Butch has been here long enough that we would be in a better position depth wise than we are? I know Dooley left the cupboard bare and we have some rising talent, but definitely a head scratcher...

So, let's figure this out instead of just assuming everyone else is better. Butch inherited an all senior offensive line. That means he basically started in year two. First recruiting class was tough, too. Remember that Dooley had a year where he didn't recruit an OL. In year two, we were forced to play two true freshmen instead of redshirting them, which is needed in the SEC. He is developing these guys, and last year, they really improved. In the meantime, he is having to recruit new ones for depth. Those guys have to play as well because depth was thin. We are finally getting depth and would like to redshirt incoming players. The line begins the year with some struggles but improves. Your veteran OL, Thomas, Robertson, and Weisman are all hurt at some time forcing us to start playing the guys we wanted to wait for a couple of years. Even a sophomore Hall is injured for 4 weeks.

Depth is getting there but probably needs one more year. Butch is really only currently in year 3 for his OL, and that's not enough time when you plan to redshirt most. Clear picture now?

You mean their 2s would have beaten our 3s

Yep and their 3's would have beaten output threes. When you have the number one recruiting class for 8 years in a row it does that for you. When you have that depth and you are blowing teams out every week your 3s and 4s get experience and your 1s and 2s get rest. Our 2s and 3s aren't getting experience cause we've had to play our 1s until the final second. That means our 1s are not getting any rest. Since our 1s are on the field for the whole 60 min they are more prone to injury as we have witnessed.

Your kidding right? They are 5 deep in 5 stars. They would have beat us today with their second string across the board.

That wasn't the scenario..the scenario was us at full strength and them without four starting Ol, two of top four DT, four of top five LBs, and both starting CBs...We would have beat the piss out of them too.

Lol no. They are more talented at every position three deep with the exception of about three players. Barnett, Kamara, and Sutton.

Reasons are not excuses. I hate that stupid cliche. If you break your ankle and can't walk. It is not an excuse to say. I can't walk because I broke my ankle. Stupidity..

Don't be obtuse. Guys don't have their ankles broken when they aren't in the game. They aren't in the game when the team takes care of business.

Going forward and knowing that this roster is undermanned compared to Bama; how do you recruit to Butch's offense with Debored as your OC, Z as your receivers coach, Mahoney as your O-line coach and no QB coach? Somebody will need to explain that to me.

I see the end game coming on D with Shoop. He gets a couple more years to get his guys and have them play his way. He doesn't have scheme and play call issues. Now 4 years in on O and I don't see it without coaching changes and O system modification.
