Lol no. They are more talented at every position three deep with the exception of about three players. Barnett, Kamara, and Sutton.

You've lost you're mind InVol. Did you even read what was posted? At full strength we can and have competed with them. We are not as deep no, but how bad do you think our dl would have trashed their whole second team OL? How much better would the offense have fared at FULL strength if they were playing against Bamas second and third team DTs and LBs and CBs?..come on..we would have destroyed them if the situation was reversed.

Going forward and knowing that this roster is undermanned compared to Bama; how do you recruit to Butch's offense with Debored as your OC, Z as your receivers coach, Mahoney as your O-line coach and no QB coach? Somebody will need to explain that to me.

I see the end game coming on D with Shoop. He gets a couple more years to get his guys and have them play his way. He doesn't have scheme and play call issues. Now 4 years in on O and I don't see it without coaching changes and O system modification.

That is the million dollar question.

It has sucked that we haven't seen a Shoop defense with all hands on deck outside a few games.

Do you really believe having Sutton, JRM, Kirkland, and a couple of the O-line would have made that much of a difference? We can compete with about any team not named Bama. They are in a totally different league. It's not even close. They have former NFL coaches that all they do is watch film. It's a machine.

That's literally the dumbest logic ever.

Agreed. If anything you probably not going to beat bama twice in one season. If your going to split might as well be when half your starters are out and during season instead of championship. I guess that guy doesn't realize how much different our team will look with Kirkland, McDowell, Sutton, Foreman back along with a full game of Hall and Kendrick.

If we play in ATL i guareentee bama will prob be overlooking us and we might just make them pay fornit

Don't be obtuse. Guys don't have their ankles broken when they aren't in the game. They aren't in the game when the team takes care of business.

I'm not the one being obtuse here. Is your understanding broken? That was an example that a reason is not an excuse. It had nothing to do with any player...smh.

Bama was clicking on all cylinders. Barnett, Kamara, and Evan Berry was the only players on the team who could hang with them. We would have lost regardless, but it would've been much closer imo

Yea, it would have been a little closer but this should be an eye opener to everyone on how far we have to go before we are a championship contender. We've come along way but it is truly night and day.

the o was severely handcuffed against a future nfl front 7 with back up o line and a skinny red shirt playing right tackle. do you guys not understand that? and on d we were without cam, jrm, dkjr, kahlil, dob, mcdowell, foreman it never stops. 8 starters. it didn't matter who was calling plays today.

So, let's figure this out instead of just assuming everyone else is better. Butch inherited an all senior offensive line. That means he basically started in year two. First recruiting class was tough, too. Remember that Dooley had a year where he didn't recruit an OL. In year two, we were forced to play two true freshmen instead of redshirting them, which is needed in the SEC. He is developing these guys, and last year, they really improved. In the meantime, he is having to recruit new ones for depth. Those guys have to play as well because depth was thin. We are finally getting depth and would like to redshirt incoming players. The line begins the year with some struggles but improves. Your veteran OL, Thomas, Robertson, and Weisman are all hurt at some time forcing us to start playing the guys we wanted to wait for a couple of years. Even a sophomore Hall is injured for 4 weeks.

Depth is getting there but probably needs one more year. Butch is really only currently in year 3 for his OL, and that's not enough time when you plan to redshirt most. Clear picture now?

sounds good thanks--clearly O linemen need to be a priority in this and the next 3 recruiting classes...

Well it mattered that we were getting 9-10 ypc with both backs in the backfield at the same time. Hurd was lead blocking up the middle for AK.

Then... it just went away.

Is this right: LT-RS Freshman-LG RS Freshman-C Jr.-RG Sophomore-RT True Freshman most of the game against Bama. This game hurt but CBJ is building for the long haul not just this season. 10-2 Four years ago fans would've been heck yeah I'll take it.

This. I do not understand why they stopped doing this unless Kamara was banged up

Can someone give me the rundown of injuries today? I'd hate to have to go in the FF tonight. TIA.

It's really not worth asking anymore.

Jones said mid week wiesman was the only player questionable and we saw today that he flat out lied. We should stop listening to him on the front.

Anyone find it intersting that JRM wasn't on the sidelines? Bet he had surgery this week even though jones said all week he hasn't decided yet
