Jones shouldn't tell anyone about injuries. If he's talking about an injury he is lying.

For some reason our fan base still listens to him talk. He says nothing into a microphone that we need to hear.

Media should stop asking him about it.

I really wish he would just be a ass about it and say no more questions period

I wish Alabama had left their entire starting OL in Tuscaloosa along with 5 or more of their top 10 defensive players and then come and played us when we were fully healthy.

I wonder how that would have gone.

InVol..this is the original post that you replied to. In this scenario we destroy them. Read it carefully.

Going forward and knowing that this roster is undermanned compared to Bama; how do you recruit to Butch's offense with Debored as your OC, Z as your receivers coach, Mahoney as your O-line coach and no QB coach? Somebody will need to explain that to me.

I see the end game coming on D with Shoop. He gets a couple more years to get his guys and have them play his way. He doesn't have scheme and play call issues. Now 4 years in on O and I don't see it without coaching changes and O system modification.

Agreed. I could type so many things that other people have already said, but it really comes down to Jones having the courage to make a change.

Shoop was hired to beat Florida. Maybe now he goes out and finds an OC that can help him beat Saban.

Agree. Listening to the media try to ask their stupid questions is painful. You know he's not gonna answer. It's like they just want to see how creative he can be to talk without answering.

I did read it. You don't understand the depth that Bama possess. Like I said there 2s and 3s are just as good and better than our 1s. And they are better coached at certain positions.

I immediately question your decision making

I have to figure out a way to deny his self invitation to my house to watch the games haha. He screams "roooooooooooooolllllllllll taaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhddddd" on every kickoff. And every touchdown he screams "touchdown a la Bama". It's miserable.

Don't know if it has been said but after the game Bama players came back on the field and smoked cigars on the power T. Pretty disrespectful, but doesn't surprise me

That's when you GTFO. We don't talk like that in my house.

Every year a team has to deal with injuries.

But I have never seen anything like this.

It is a bit shocking.

Agreed. We've been without multiple potential All-SEC players for multiple games. Today was the culmination of a worse case scenario with injuries and bad play calling. This came on the heels of a brutal 4 game gauntlet. This has to influence our opinions of today's game.

P.S. I love Derek Barnett and we'd better enjoy him for this last half of the season as it may be 20 years or more before we see another one like him. While there is still a lot of games left to be made, I think Barnett might make it in the top 10 of the Heisman voting. He's been amazing every game this year.

You're the type of that holier than thow attitude who thinks its their way or the highway and feel like you have to try and offend people to make yourself feel better... this is an opinion board --- I'm giving my opinion just like you are, but you feel the need to try and degrade someone you don't agree with-- I am nuts, and apparently have lost all sense of reality and rationality... Really? You are showing about as much class as Scarborough did with comments like this.

Fantastically rich coming from a guy who also called me nuts:

I believe sir you are the one that is NUTS.

Your LOS league comment only justifies my question of why then, did Dobbs not try and even the playing field and be a running threat?

Run where exactly? Did you see us try to run outside? Did you see them stay disciplined vs over pursuing which opens up the read option? (hint: it was because they could do what they wanted with a minimal rush)

Hurts ATE OUR LUNCH.

And? They had a healthy offensive line, with healthy running backs, with healthy WR's vs a severely depleted defense. It forced us to gamble and that will open you up to a running QB.

Since you think this game all came down to the fact that our O line is so bad, I got news for ya buddy, it is not going to get much better, so with your logic, we should probably go ahead and mentally prepare for another loss...

If we don't get healthy the rest of our schedule won't be a cakewalk. However, the good news is that we aren't playing a team remotely close to Bama's talent before the end of the regular season. You should know that.

I've been trying to give you the benefit of the doubt for being overly emotional following a loss to a hated rival. However, as the night drags on, and your posts accumulate, you're really straining that idea.

Yes I have figured it out. I think thier 2s and 3s are just as good as our ones and in many cases better. And better coached. There are certain positions on this team that are not being coached up very well at all.

Well I totally disagree with you on that. With last weeks starting ol and full strength defense we soul have beat the piss out of their 2-3rd string backups to the backups too. Come on man..dont ever call me a whiny loser again.

I heard their band start playing after I was already outside the stadium, a good 15-20 minutes after the game.

Pretty tacky if true. Only one way to keep that from happening though. Ending the FL steak this year was great. Ending the bama one will be glorious.

This. I do not understand why they stopped doing this unless Kamara was banged up

don't talk about the play calling-- apparently that had nothing to do with our loss or the margin of loss to a lot of folks on here...
I really don't know why our play calling looked scared and regressed back two years today... these are glaring questions no one wants to talk about-- Why the hell did't Dobbs run all day like Hurt to give us another weapon? I haven't heard a single person have a legitimate reason... It's almost like Butch just gave the game before it even started and was trying to save players...

we can heal up and take another shot in atlanta. after bama drills a&m and we roll a couple teams and get healthy we will start feeling better. maybe hurts gets one of those high ankle sprains.

How does acknowledging Bama has had number 1 recruiting classes for the last umpteen years make me a loser. They have zero weaknesses several deep. It is what it is. They have 5* backing up 5* backing up 5*. They have NFL quality coaches at most positions. It is what it is. Bama got tired of losing and created a semi-pro, NFL developmental team. Good thing is we only have to play them once or twice a year. Bad news is well never play for a National championship as long as they keep it up or maybe a west team knocks them off.

Haha. Bless your heart. You really are living in an alternative reality or Alabama, which if truth be told, is actually worse. You need to get out of there ASAP. It is truly warping your brain.

Maybe they lose their whole OL, two starting LBs and two out of top three backup LBs and both starting corners and two of the top four DTs..lets see what happens then.

Dobbs didn't run on some plays because he chose not to. Sure, the play calling could have been better. But Dobbs missed several reads both running and passing. He had several wide open passes that he missed. Frankly, after the first couple of sacks, Dobbs got scared. He started checking down real quickly.
