No, Tennessee is 6-1. Sometimes you can win in spite of your offense. DeBord has proven he's capable of calling a good half but not consistently calling a good game week in and week out.

I don't get this. 38 vs UF (plus a ton of drops in 1st half). 27 vs UGA (plus a fumbled TD pass). 38 vs A&M (despite 7 turnovers; racked up 600+ yards).

I'm not saying he's the best ever, but that's not garbage production before our OL was obliterated with injuries.

First half VT, entire game of App State, Ohio, first half Florida? I'm not saying he's incapable of calling good plays, I'm saying he's proven he won't do it week in and week out for the entire game.

Yeah I'm not losing sleep over a slide like that. We win out and we slowly march our way back up to around 10/11.

Florida in the first half was all about dropped balls. Not play calling. He got better as the game progressed with VT (ended up in the 30's).

You're not going to get an argument from me against trash teams. I honestly don't think it's a lack of play calling as much as it is Butch's obsession of playing just well enough. He doesn't like to open up risks.

Part of the play calling today was clearly about not getting any further injuries. Same happens with trash teams. Personally, I think it ends up backfiring.
