I dunno. OSU has played the crappiest out of all of them. Barely beat mich st by 1, ot against mich, lose to Penn state, barely beat nw by 4, ot against wisc

8 teams is a bad idea. The purpose of the playoff is to find the absolute best team in the country. I would say that 80% of the time, that team will be in the top 4. Expand to 6 teams, that would increase to ~95%. I think 6 is the absolute max, but I don't like the extra game for some teams. Keep it at 4.

They have THREE top 10 wins.

Most teams wouldn't get to OT against Michigan or Wisconsin, let alone beat them.

Penn State is the highest team out of playoffs.

They have the best one loss resume in the country.

I'm several pages behind so this will appear out of order with the topics you're probably discussing now. Sorry, but if Sumlin was our coach and blew the QB situation he had at A&M while our coach, he would have been blown out on this forum.
He's had elite talent and always up to this point at least blown the end of the year. If Butch ends up leaving for whatever reason, I don't see Sumlin as an option.. JMO

Um okay....Penn State beat OSU head to head....and then proceeded to win the BIG 10 championship.

And lost 2 games. By your logic psu should still get in even if they lost 2 out of conference games as long as they win the B10 and beat OSU
