It was a NFL move not a chargers move

Other way around. The NFL and Goodell wanted them to stay put. Goodell was even trying to find ways for the NFL to help fund to get them a new stadium built.

But San Diego wasn't gonna build a new stadium, so the owner moved them.

Teams moving to LA is a fail. There is a reason why teams have moved AWAY from LA in the past. It is not a football city and never will be.

The thing is that teams can actually profit more from a new stadium with PSLs and tons of empty seats than they can from an old stadium with no PSLs that sells out every home game.

That's why their owner moved them, not because he thinks they'll get more support or have more success in LA.

Bad for the league in the long run though, having an indifferent fan base.

The story I read said that the Chargers owner wanted a new downtown stadium but San Diego wouldn't pay for it because the Chargers wouldn't meet them halfway. They wanted a new stadium and didn't get it but the owner has wanted to move the team for a couple of years now. Where are you seeing it was an NFL move? What does that mean also? NFL made them move?

Wow. That'll take some scheduling.

It'll be tough for sure.

Some of the things I heard on the radio yesterday about it were crazy. The owners were talking about making everything digital that in terms of banners on the inside/outside, logos on the walls etc. so they can just switch colors and team images each weekend if need be. They even mentioned having the seats be clear and able to be lit certain colors depending on who is using the arena that weekend.

I'm getting it from a few talk shows don't know the names because I don't listen to them regularly. So we'll go with the lazy greed of the owner. Both are believable imo

Your two post contradict each other than

No. Because I wasn't making both those points as my opinion. They were made to contradict assertions made by other posters.

In the first post I was simply responding to someone who said if Tennessee has 3 future NFL greats how could they not win more than 9 games. I responded by saying Butch has had 2 future NFL greats before and couldn't win in the MAC so what chance did he have of doing that in the SEC.

Now obviously Tennessee had more talent around Dobbs, Kamara, and Sutton than Antonio Brown and JJ Watt had at Central Michigan which is why I believe Butch Jones is a poor coach. We were not a team with 3 great players and 19 average ones. We had more talent which is why Butch Jones underachieved given his talent level the past 2 years.

Gullickson is big on throwing heavy weight. He's about getting bigger and stronger. He's old school in the fact that to get bigger and stronger you gotta lift more weights. He's big in flexibility and explosiveness, but you will see this team be bigger and stronger moving forward. They won't be as lean as they were this year
