I would like Blackburn as AD more, but I will say that I like Fulmer as AD way, way, way more than Jon Gilbert.

Yeah I thought plan was DB as AD and he bring Fulmer in Spurrier type role that Florida has. This coming out makes me think DB chances are getting slimmer and this is a compromise

I like the idea of Fulmer in that Spurrier role with DB as the AD. I really hope that happens

Agreed on Dak, but I'd argue Zeke is no better than Gurley, just Zeke has the elite OL. The OL giving you time and a believable play action will make good QB be elite and bad QB be good. I refuse to believe there are so few people in the entire world who can play QB. You put some of those "just average" QB on the Cowboys and they'd look amazing.

Pre-knee injury Gurley I would agree. But since that injury he hasn't been the same. I think Zeke is better right now with or without the elite OL.

Fulmer would more less get the benefit of the doubt tho even if some of his decisions don't work out. Just because the love a lot of the fan base has for him.

Now as for DB, Pay raise and Knoxville>Nooga are the only pluses I see.

Knoxville better than Chattanooga is debatable.

Starting to sound like we are looking for anyone but Blackburn. If Dave Blackburn was gonna be the AD it could have happened months ago, last week or yesterday. Each day this drags on the more likely it is that we go a different route.

I put Dave Blackburn at about 20% chance to be or next AD.

You honestly believe that the QB coach hire is going to determine if Butch coaches our team in 2018? I get that you think it is a terrible hire; that is not surprising at all, since you think everything that CBJ does is terrible, but why do you think that will determine the outcome of our season?

No I don't think everything butch does is terrible... I think the shop hire was great... now that we know the results I think the debored hire was a good one, at first I thought hiring Scott was a bad idea, but if you think about it's a smart hire trying to install a new offense in a make or break year, but canales is a head scratcher, in a make or break year butch is breaking in a new qb and is going to rely on a qb coach who has 1 big name qb he has coached over 10 years ago, this coach doesn't have a good track record, and isn't a big enough name to go out and get elite recruits

That kickoff return is looming large. Defense has played great. The only play New England has really had success on is the long jump ball.
