So I know these competitions aren't overly meaningful, but any word on why Adrian Martinez and/or Penix aren't competing in the Elite Eleven competition going on currently?
I figured one or both of those guys would be invited and some of the guys on that list aren't all that impressive TBH.
His Mercedes dealership is suppose to open in Nashville soon (October I think). He's just playing the game for business purposes. That and...there is not a lot of hockey in the south. Probably a lot of Preds fans from a lot of southern states
Oh....and f*** Bama and Saban!
Do you watch basketball at all? Go look at the box score from Game 1 - Tristan had 0 points, JR had 3, and Iman had 5. Not to mention Tristan only had FOUR boards. Kyle Korver had zero points, as did Deron Williams. Kyle Korver, albeit a very good shooter, has never been the greatest 3 point shooter in the NBA and DWill is about four years removed from being an all-star. Lebron had 28/15/8 the other night. Kyrie had 24 and pretty much nothing else. Kevin Love put up 15 points and 21 rebounds. Lebron James has 2 talented teammates and a squad of role players that has shown up about 1/3 of the time this season. When the Cavs entire team is clicking, it gets pretty deadly - ask the Celtics in the previous series. The issue for Cleveland, aside from consistency from everyone, is the Warriors have 3 players who shoot above 40% from three. All 3 of those players are current all-stars, and that's not including Draymond (another all-star).Kyrie Irving = ROY and All-Star before teamming up with LeBron
Kevin Love = 26 PPG and 13 RPG in Minnesota before teamming up with LeBron
Kyle Korver = Best 3pt shooter in the NBA and All-Star before teamming up with LeBron
Deron Williams = former All-Star
Stop trying to make it seem like LeBron has no one else with him. He's got 2 current all-stars beside him that were dominant players before teamming up with him and vets like Kyle Korver and Deron Williams who are former all-stars with great shooting ability. And then lets not forget Tristan Thompson, JR Smith, and Iman Shumpert. LeBron James has a very talented squad. Stop making it seem like he's playing with nobody.

Several posters said it already, but some of you have an unreal amount of disdain for Lebron James. I've read countless posts in this thread where people are going to ridiculous lengths to bash the guy. It makes no sense to hate someone who has done no wrong (to the public's knowledge, obviously).
I actually think that's a great comparison.Haters, gonna, you know...
Warriors remind me of the Bulls and Cavs remind me of the Pistons - back in the day. Don't worry yourself if you don't understand the comparison.
Nothing against Lebron but HIS team is gonna need to show up tonight.
