Just curious, outside of the O/W game, how much have you actually seen JG play?Also, I don't think think you realize how under developed he looks under his pads. i don't think there's anyway he could hold up in a read option offense, dobbs looks like cam Newton compared to JG.

I've watched QD and that's why I have zero faith in him being the QB that makes us elite. I like the potential of JG.

Dobbs his first two years wasn't big. Lamar Jackson is also a slight fellow but he did just fine in the best conference in America.

I have zero expectations for him as QB. So I'm not going to be disappointed at all in any form or fashion. If he wins big then I can be surprised in a good way.

Some thoughts...

Fully expect QD to start, won't be announced till week of GT. Watched the spring game recently and was very impressed with him. VERY good passing. JG simply looked inexperienced, not bad, but not ready. Reminiscent of late 2014 Dobbs.

Also think QD is athletic enough to get himself out of trouble 75% of the time.

I will put myself out there and say that the OL will go beast mode this year. Easily the deepest, most talented line we've had in 5 years. Also why I think our offense will score as many points as last 2 years, giving QD the time and protection to make good decisions/throws.

The offense will be structured differently imo towards more pro-style, and I think we ought to get 3000+ yds passing.

I saw JM in like 1999/2000 at Dancin in the District in Nashville (way back, for those that remember)...dude could play the guitar as well as anyone I've seen. If he would just sit up there and wale on the guitar, it'd be an awesome show. Just don't give him a microphone

While we are sharing John Mayer stories, he played a show in Johnson City when I was in college. Of course we did not attend the show, but a few friends and I ended up at waffle house for customary 3 AM binge after a night of drinking. No clue what the difference really is between one of "his" shows vs. a John Mayer Trio show but I saw the trio version in NYC about a decade ago and it was one of the most impressive things I've ever seen in person.
