No clue what the difference really is between one of "his" shows vs. a John Mayer Trio show but I saw the trio version in NYC about a decade ago and it was one of the most impressive things I've ever seen in person.

Not a ton of difference. I've seen him live by himself and with Dead and Co. I get his music isn't for everyone be he shreds on the guitar.

I don't know much about his solo music but I know there wasn't any "Body like a Wonderland" or whatever that song was called at the Trio show. From what I remember, it was a ton of covers that just allowed them all to show off how insanely good they were on their instrument.

While we are sharing John Mayer stories, he played a show in Johnson City when I was in college. Of course we did not attend the show, but a few friends and I ended up at waffle house for customary 3 AM binge after a night of drinking. JM was there, by himself, so we decided to sit with him, which he did not seem to mind. My buddy bought his breakfast. He's a pretty weird dude.

He was probably high as a kite lol. Dude can shred on a guitar and dates some of the hottest girls in music and movies but he is a wack job.

When you got Katy Perry and Jennifer Anniston on your "done did that" list, you're afforded a little eccentricity. :)

So has he officially moved to guard for good, or do we think he will ever move out to tackle in the future?

He said he's moved to guard right now and it's his quickest path to playing time. Could work back outside in the future but guard for now

LT before he leaves in 3. Right now they're getting him on the field because he's too good to sit.

On one of the threads on VN Patrick Brown mentioned a possible situation with one of our potential OL starters. Then in the practice 3 thread it was mentioned Jones was not in shells because he missed Sunday practice, anyone know why he missed practice?
Wondered if this is what Brown was talking about?

The things I would do for a chance with Jennifer Aniston :)

The only difference that I see is that the zone read and inside zone run are two different things. The zone read leaves a DE exposed and forces the QB to read it. The inside zone run is an automatic handoff and designed for the OL to run a zone scheme. If the RB is having to miss a tackle immediately then the OL is not doing their job. The zone run also allows the RB to read the blocking sooner in the backfield. We run both plays with variations on the inside zone run.

Ya I suck at terminology. The read option is what I should have been saying. Darth correctly pointed out that I was incorrectly using them interchangeably. All of our running plays are from shotgun, and the qb reads the D or acts like he's reading the D to decide if he'll keep it or not. If we continue to do that with a qb who isn't a threat to keep it, our offense will struggle.

She's Aussie. Crazy bastages down there.

Her husband probably insulted Foster's or something. Aussies don't like it when you do that.

That is a fact that I made up for this post. It may or may not be true.

FWIW, most Aussies I know would be more likely to go postal if you actually served Foster's at a wedding than if you insulted it.
