You are correct. I do believe East record should determine the winner tho

Should winning the division determine the season? Let's say we go 10-2 losses to UF and Bama but UF goes 11-1, would the season be a success?

about ran off the road laughing when i just heard these guys on 680 in ATL talking about UGA having a "special season" and possibly going undefeated and CFB playoffs. They are agreeing its possible haha. Like what the hell. Same roster finished 8-5 in January and now they are "special". setting themselves up big time for a let down. After the last 15 years or so i cant believe they havent learned yet not to do this. I get that its a homer station but man cmon. Said they will be undefeated going into AU game. Thats funny bc Vegas says 8.5 wins. Thats a long way from a 10-12 win season.

Just a hypothetical to gauge where acceptable expectations are around here

I assume any combination with an East title makes most generally happy

I wondered what a better record with no East title would do for folks

9-3 with losses to UGA, UF, and LSU. I would be fine with that.

Agreed. In addition to being our biggest rival historically, beating Bama gets a team endless positive press for the entirety of the season. It's a CFB "event" any time it happens.

Losing to UF again would suck, but we finally ended that streak. Bama has handed us our ass every year Saban has been there except two, and they still won those games.

I guess I missed something over on Fingers practice report, but could someone let me know why Sapp is in a no contact jersey? Surely he is not already hurt again and this is just precautionary? The kid just got healthy...

we gotta win the east. If the only way to do that is to beat FL and GA and lose to Bama and LSU, I'm ok with that. I still think Bama is our biggest, and most hated, rival but we need to win the east

Win a division championship and play in the SECCG for the first time in a decade. Everything else is a cherry on top.

Pretty sure he's been in a green jersey the whole camp. Probably just being precautionary with that knee.
