Hilarious..... they are lining up and punching Ga.Tech in the mouth on defense. Making them win throwing the ball. Who in their right mind wouldn't make an option QB beat you with his arm? Shoop needs to dumb down things to himself. Just get back to playing fast and physical man.

Are you going to do this the whole game?
I agree with you.
Should have sold out to stop the run and make them play to their weakness. Take away their strength and put our CBs 1:1 and roll.
You do that by scoring points early.....we didn't.
JMO, but no P5 school should ever play a triple option school, unless you have to (sorry ACC). There is not a lot to gain, but there is a lot to lose.
If the CBs can't play 1 on 1 with Ga.Tech WRs then they don't need to be at Tennessee.
Probably....
I don't care what others think about that game. My opinion is that they played Defense worrying about injuries to the D-line (and can't say that that necessarily bothers me). I do believe they thought the offense would do more early, requiring GT to have to switch to the passing game. Offense picked up later in the game, but the first half lack of production by the Offense is what caused that game to look like it did.
