Currie knows this. What he does about it is another story. If he can't get it done, then I'll be convinced Larry is correct and there are just too many obstacles and too many egos holding back the UT AD from being successful.

Which is why I wanted DB as UTAD. Someone who I knew wanted to win.

I am so sick of UT not fielding a winner.

That 5-week stretch of FL, UGA, AU, BAMA, & USCjr. is rough. Yes, we have a BYE in there, but man is that a tough setup.

Really not any way around it. always having bama, UF, UGA, USCjr is always in there so then anyone else from west is usually good or having their breakout moment when we play them. Having bama as our permanent opponent will always be a disadvantage compared to rest of the division

Mike Hamilton must not have thought much of winning long term when he gave Kiffin basically no buyout, then hired Dooley and gives him a ridiculous buyout. Still makes me sick- I liked Kiffin and was excited for what he could do here- think of our quarterback development under him...

Newt, if we somehow win all the rest and finish 11-1 (I know, I know), we will have to come to the conclusion that is the avi's fault. Just FYI. TIFIW. JMHO #notaninsider

I agree with this statement. Of course, Kelly needs touches, too. If QD continues to be the all the time QB, I would love to see a Chandler/Kelly combo in the "Wildcat", especially in the 4th quarter and the half yard line, if UT won't go under center.

We should absolutely have a wildcat package. No excuse for us not having one that we use often. Kelly with any of Chandler/Callaway/Byrd

I wonder if Butch would've taken this job back in 2012 if he knew how crazy our fan base/expectations are. Not to say they aren't warranted, but I think if he could see the amount of stress and pressure he would have 5 years later, he may have held out for a position elsewhere with lower expectations.

The head coaching job of our beloved Vols isn't for the weak nor should it be. It will make you or break you.

And once again we have a COMPLETELY brutal stretch. Who thought it was a good idea to put all the hard games at the beginning and all the easy games at the end? This year was much better put together.

Unbalanced schedule. At least the BYE is in a good spot.

Looks like a 7-5 or 8-4 type schedule. At least the BYE is in a good spot.

Depends on who the coach is

Already seen a new thread in ff with "got a text from a friend with sources. Says Butch has lost boosters." Etc. Always good times on volnation
