@ Auburn then the next week vs bama is gonna be rough no matter who is the coach

They've recruited well the last few years but you can def tell coaching and playing Alabama and in the west has taken a toll. Cowart no 1 recruit in 2015 was just dismissed from the team along with sean white the backup qb. If they don't improve from last year GM could be in the same boat as Butch is next year coaching for his job.

I wonder if Butch's style of aggressive football pre-disposes players to injury. Not suggesting that it is any more aggressive than others, just taught in a different way. There are certainly tackling techniques that can cause the tackler to sustain injuries, maybe that has a broader application to how they train players to move or attack.

We are super soft, outside of about 6-8 players who play consistently.

I think Dabo is the coach there eventually, but I think Saban will have a hand in picking his successor, and he will probably lobby for one of his guys. I think Dabo will be the proverbial guy who follows the guy who follows THE guy.

Please be Dooley, please be Dooley, please be Dooley!!!!

Yes, I know that would never happen, but since many of yall are throwing out unrealistic options for UT, I'll throw out unrealistic options for Bama :).

This season is going just like last season. So far it seems like it's just been one continuation of the same. Different playmakers featured, different assistant coaches, same results on the field. It is what it is.

I'll be happy to serve as a reference. Will definitely win more games than Mike Price.

Facing the reality of another potential coaching change after clawing back from sucktitude saps the mojo right out of you huh?

No, coaching change is a good thing. I'm more upset about losing a game we should have won. And how we lost it. We should have kicked that gator ass and been on our way to winning the East. But nope.

Pretty awesome what the program has done for a lot of the kids and their families in Florida. Credit where credit is due.

NCAA will probably come knocking thinking it is some kind of NCAA violation.

Good Job Butch and Company!

I am sure there are some contributing factors, but we also don't closely follow other teams. As I stated before the Memphis/UCLA game, Memphis had only played one game, and they had 3 starters/contributors out for the year on defense and 1 on offense. That's after one game.

The wrist injuries to JJ and McDowell are not from S&C.

Why is this difficult to understand. We don't know and follow the rosters of other teams like we do UT. If you don't look at just our injuries and rather look at how many more injuries we have than other teams you see the percentage in nothing crazy. Certainly within standard deviation of coincidence (aka bad luck).

Roulette wheel can land on red 10 times in a row and it has nothing to do with the casino worker. I have seen that happen many a-times. And mathematically that is much less likely than whatever extra injuries UT is dealing with compared to other teams.

This argument is simply fans that want CBJ gone and look for anything and everything to add into their argument.

I think it is the lack of S&C last year. A year of not properly working out can cause a lot of injuries IMO. Rumors of players not taking it seriously leaked out last year.

Good, so now they're ready for the dime package.

I am also ready for the dime package.

Yeah I hear ya there. Hopefully we can put this behind us and come out guns blazing and finish 10-2 or 11-1. I would def like to win some games we are not supposed to like GA, Bama, and LSU. The talent is there just got to finish and play to win and not play to lose.

That isn't my motivation at all. At what point does it stop being statistical clustering and start becoming a systemic issue? We were like dead last in injuries last year and are off to a similar start this year. If we have two years in a row of being last, is it still clustering? What about 3? Eventually the Law of Large numbers should fix this...or we have an issue. When do we make that determination?

I am so freakin sick of being bad at every sport that matters.

The only program we have over there that has their crap together is the softball program. Thank God for the Weekly's.

If it doesn't show, he posted that emoji to the pic of the rock painted "Fire butch now"

See what painting the rock does? You know, the rock that we typically use to lure recruits here? You know the unique recruiting tool that the rock has become?

Currie knows this. What he does about it is another story. If he can't get it done, then I'll be convinced Larry is correct and there are just too many obstacles and too many egos holding back the UT AD from being successful.
