Agreed.

On a side note, you mentioning how he is always smiling and laughing made me think about AK and something I read about him on a fantasy football site. It mentioned him having character concerns coming out of college. Where did that come from?? Is it still the narrative because he transferred from the gumps??

I hope Berry is going to be able to play against Florida. He's just the best KR I've ever seen. He can change the game if coaches make the mistake of actually kicking to him. I've never seen a guy so avoided though. Teams are willing to pooch kick it to the 40 just to keep it out of his hands.

Florida has an elite kicker. Doubt he gets any returns anyway

Driving with a suspended license and the tiff with Saban. Argued with a poster who hoped "he'd get his act together". Laughable. Up there with Goldvol wanting to kick Trey Smith off the team for trashing the Ole Miss thief.

For the newer or uninitiated posters on here regarding bruin. He is not necessarily negative or positive. As nick said, he is a contrarian. Truth or facts are irrelevant. He likes to start something and stir the pot as long as anyone will participate. He will argue forever about meaningless bullcrap. He will make stuff up and throw in the occasional imo. Just like this stuff with JG. The facts are this: the announcers made comments about his attitude and demeanor during the game. There is some rumor of tweets that no longer exist that were liked by JG. Butch said he would play this Saturday. There is a rumor that he is transferring (unsubstantiated).
That's it. From that, he has turned it into pages of argument that is meaningless. NOBODY on this board has enough relevant details to say what is really going on. NOBODY.
So, I said all that to say this: Please spare the rest of us and don't quote him. If you MUST argue with him, please don't quote him.

All true, however this past week of arguments over pure conjecture as if it were something only he was privy to was my breaking point with him. I don't think he's a bad guy or anything.

For me this board is my lifeline to fellow fans of my beloved Vols as an out of state fan. I come here to get information and opinion, both positive and negative in order to be more informed.

Arguing for arguments sake however is unproductive at best.

Gillespie is by far my most trusted assistant coach. I have wondered how he would fare as an OC. Guy knows his runningbacks and how to coach them up. I know that doesn't always translate into an OC/DC type of role, but I have wondered it for a little bit now.
