Really hope the coaches empty the bench and give the starters some much-needed rest tomorrow. I'd rather have an ugly W then limp into the Swamp (or wherever the game is played) with tweaked knees, sore ankles and bruised ribs. We have nothing to prove tomorrow and fatigue injuries could be costly.

Man, the VQ pod does not have me feeling to optimistic. Lot of questions about personnel decisions from these coaches. Fair questions too.

Don't listen to their pod but heard Hubbs on the radio yesterday. He, like most of us, was perplexed by Callaway being the 4th or 5th WR on the field. He said he probably would not have played had Josh Smith been healthy. He also said Bituli would not have played had Austin Smith (and Kirkland but that makes some sense) been available. He was also worried about the defensive line rotation (playing too few guys too many snaps).

I don't listen to much hip hop or rap but Here Comes The Boom by Nelly would be an awesome 3rd Down song.

Not playing enough guys against GT on defense. Bituli not playing if Smith would have been healthy. Not subbing for DT's or LB's during the game. Not being on the same page at the media sessions about personnel. Concerns about not letting young guys play early tomorrow. The JG situation, really surprised he didn't get an opportunity to open the second half and many other things like that. They are worried about this staff's reluctance to play the best player over a guy that perhaps they trust more. Etc. Etc.

You guys this is a podcast right? LOL

I like the 3rd down song. Who care's as long as it gets the crowd loud.

But yeah, it is very concerning that Callaway was not WR2 before the game. He was the only receiver with a pulse Monday night. If he isn't in the game, we lose. Even JJ isn't making the 50 yard catch and go TD that Callaway had. Incredibly perplexing that he was buried on the depth chart. In fact, why didn't he play more last year? Even when we beat up scrubs he barely played or was targeted. Bituli also. These guys should have a lot more experience this year than they have. Coach Matthews said the same thing. If we aren't subbing guys early Saturday and instead are leaving Kmac and Vickers on the field until we have a big enough lead, its going to be very concerning. A lot of these personnel decisions are perplexing. When even Hubbs and Price are strongly questioning personnel decisions it makes you wonder what is going on.

We need a lot less info about the team IMO. We stress every time a player stubs his toe or tweets out a weird song lyric. Grab a drink and just enjoy the ride. Quit obsessing over EVVVVVVVVERYTHING. We can't change any of it anyway so we might as well hang on because CBJ is the man and for better or worse he is leading our team this year. He makes the calls and he is ultimately responsible. He will manage the playtime and the timeouts how he wants and if it gets him fired then so be it. Just chill out. We get to watch Vol Football tomorrow!
