IS ND gonna be decent this year. They has sucked so bad the last couple I just assumed they were going to continue the trend.

Man, the VQ pod does not have me feeling to optimistic. Lot of questions about personnel decisions from these coaches. Fair questions too.

Hopped over to the FF. Freak has injury update thread stickied. Care to guess who is hearing injury to TKjr but can't confirm? LWS

Go figure. Ramey said general soreness nothing serious that they have heard. Prob someone saw him getting knee drained and turned it into his leg was amputated

So we've played one game and we have 14 players either out for the season, or are "questionable" for the Ind St game... awesome.... ??? I would love to see someone pull up some info comparing our injury situation from last season to current, against any other team in the country.... remember when some anonymous coach or reporter said we were "soft"? Most are precautionary, but Geez.

Agreed.

On a side note, you mentioning how he is always smiling and laughing made me think about AK and something I read about him on a fantasy football site. It mentioned him having character concerns coming out of college. Where did that come from?? Is it still the narrative because he transferred from the gumps??

I would say it was from his time with Saban. Never heard of any issues here. Kelly actually mentioned AK in an interview I saw yesterday. They asked if he had heard from him yet about the game and he said not yet but AK is busy preparing for his first game and they will talk soon. I know the two of them were very close.

Driving with a suspended license and the tiff with Saban. Argued with a poster who hoped "he'd get his act together". Laughable. Up there with Goldvol wanting to kick Trey Smith off the team for trashing the Ole Miss thief.

lol that's trey smith video emergence thread was hilarious. The freak out was real.

what personnel decisions were they discussing?

Not playing enough guys against GT on defense. Bituli not playing if Smith would have been healthy. Not subbing for DT's or LB's during the game. Not being on the same page at the media sessions about personnel. Concerns about not letting young guys play early tomorrow. The JG situation, really surprised he didn't get an opportunity to open the second half and many other things like that. They are worried about this staff's reluctance to play the best player over a guy that perhaps they trust more. Etc. Etc.

I actually don't think ND was as bad as their record indicated last year. They finished the season 26th on S&P poll(an advanced stats poll). I think they're an 8-9 win team this year and that they'll finish in the 18-21 range of the major polls. The UGA game will be interesting because it's strength vs strength (ND OL vs UGA front 7) and weakness vs weakness (UGA OL vs ND run defense). Itll hopefully be a good game to really gauge how good both teams how

Uhhh, these are legitimate concerns.... this type of thing will get us in trouble on the field quickly....
Not sure if even BigZit can spin this type of thing orange koolaid drinking positive...

Great. I assumed ND was gonna get rolled. Here's hoping they hand UGA their first loss. I would live for them to already know the feeling well by the time they get to Knoxville.

Thanks for clearing that up. Some posters will do anything to argue with me. No idea why a poster like Ziti would question your authenticity.

You really do sound like a hurt little child. I understand that you are passionate about what you believe, but for your sake and for everyone else's, please let one thing go. Just one.

Most of the time, when people spew verbal diarrhea often as you do it is because they have $#!+ for brains.

ND is a 4.5 point fav, so on a neutral field it looks like Vegas likes them just a bit more than UGA. I'm hoping ND is able to show a "blueprint" of how to stop their running game and maybe points out some ways to neutralize some of their talent up front
