I'll get it started:

Rumors need to be labeled and treated as such, not assumed as fact no matter how hard you'd like to believe it.

Don't tweet at 'croots (includes pulling a Sabanocchio/Scroggins love letter type situation).

Speak about those in our program with a shred (that's all, just a shred at the very least) of respect. If a player isn't doing well, guess what, he'd still run circles around your fat azz. If a coach calls a bad play, guess what, they're professionals. You're not. No coach will be 100% agreeable every snap of the season.

Stop calling each other out over petty arguments in the RF, because I generally like the discussion here, but you guys apparently know each other way too intimately with your personal opinions of each other, and it ruins the board for those of us that have jobs and like to poke our heads in every day or two. The only exception is D4H because he's so much of a crackpot, he might as well be VN's mascot.

Don't have any gods before Rod Wilks.

And know that Evan Berry isn't going to switch to RB. It's not like coaches haven't ever thought of putting him elsewhere on the team; they just know better. You don't.

Any more suggestions?

Ok, here it is.

1. Don't always be a d*** about something you claim to be a fan of.

Welp, pretty much covers that.

I should've kept my mouth shut. I just added to the pettiness I try to avoid on this board. I apologize to anyone who felt the post was personal.

Things I know to be true stated by other posters recently and in past posts.

1. I do tend to take things more Seriously than I should regarding football. People are suffering in this country and in the world and I am worried about a game (which I love) but still a game.

2. This is a message board and runs on opinions. I have no right to pass judgement or tell others how to think/behave.

3. Regardless of opinions, we all have a common bond in the school we are fans of, and at the end of the day, want what's best for UT.

4. We each have different beliefs, cultures, ideas, opinions, expectations, and by the freedoms of this country, are allowed to believe in/share them openly and without fear of censorship/punishment.

There are many reasons why I have been a board member for as long as I have and have so few posts. The most important of those is that I try to add to the board and not take away. I let unimportant things rule my thoughts and reacted poorly. Again, we are all vol fans at the end of the day and I am glad each of you take part in cheering alongside me each Saturday.

You may want to rethink the wording on that one with all of the dumb stuff Butch and his coaches have pulled at times. As an example, go back a few years and tell us how smart it was having Coleman Thomas play OT against Oklahoma on the road as a true freshman. Never played the position before in his life before arriving on campus that season. That would have been about the time Evan Berry also arrived on campus as a top 10 GA HS RB.

You do realize that you are just about the only poster that quotes their own posts, right? I have noticed that you have not quoted yourself on some of your less memorable predictions.
