I go to the Shrimp Dock, get some halibut, cut them into nuggets and fry them in my special beer batter.

So...yea stay the f out of Syria, we need to stop being the world police especially when we start bombing the side Russia is supporting. Let the middle east destroy itself and stop giving the terrorists more ammo to hate.

As for "but they are using chemical weapons on innocent people" how is that worse than traditional bullets and rockets? How you kill people determines retaliation from us? Stupid argument. Especially when we can't even take in those refugees who are trying to flee the sitch.

Umm..do you really not know why chemical weapons are worse? Your pretty smart, so I don't understand how you can not know why they are worse. There are very good reasons why they are banned, and pretty much anybody that uses them is ostracized by society. I really don't understand Russia not reigning in their pit bull, when they know it would cause retribution...unless it was a test to see how far they could go with Trump.

Oh it's a win situation for Trump, no one is talking about Russian collusion while this is going on.
I'm sure it's just coincidence but I predicted a military confrontation two weeks ago, think they made a movie about something similar about 20 yrs ago..

We need to either commit fully towards policing the world or refrain from it entirely. Half measures aren't doing a lot of good and they just create more enemies. This isn't a democrat or republic thing, both parties basically have the same platform once in power when it comes to acting against foreign entities.

And I agree with you. Selective situational "messages" to adversaries work well when you are the top dog. It's the broader wars combined with nation rebuilding that causes the major problems. Sometimes it can't be helped, most times it can.

Absolutely. This was a small slap on the wrist that says "Don't do it again!" No lives were lost, I don't think we even hit a fighter jet. This was simply a warning. Whether it was effective remains to be seen but I have an idea Assad will not use chemical weapons again.

Any recommendations for a good fish restaurant near Knoxville up to Gatlinburg. We're coming down for the O&W game and wanted some trout or other fish.
