Per our Constitution absolutely. We have 50 states. All are equal. I was born and raised here in TN. I believe my state is every bit equal to Cal, NY etc when it comes to national elections

That's ridiculous. So do you think that each state should have equal say in congress too?

So Wyoming should have equal say as California? How many do each have in congress?

Depends on what you mean by "equal say". If you are saying a person's voice in Wyoming should be equal to a person's voice on California, then yes.

If you are saying Wyoming, with its smaller population, should not have an equal vote to California in a presidential election, then I would point out that it doesn't.

Electoral College delegates
California 55
Wyoming 3

Welcome to how the rest of America feels about Fox News, literally all the time. Just no point wasting energy here over it.
Show me where Fox News is calling Biden a rapist based upon this allegation and I’ll agree with you. Show me where Fox is treating Biden the same way CNN, MSNBC, etc treated Kav and I’ll agree with you.

Maybe you need to read up on the Constitution as well. You know as well as I do that US Congressional districts are determined by population in any given area. But regardless of population, each state has 2 equal US senators. THE WAY IT SHOULD BE in a representative Republic

So why would you want or be willing for 3 or 4 states to decide our national leaders? Every state should have an equal say.

The convo started bc someone said democrat to republican support in this country is 50-50. Which I’m good with.

But if that that is true then it is also true that a popular vote would be plenty fair. 3-4 states wouldn’t decide. Each person’s vote, regardless of which state they reside in, would count just once. Whichever candidate had the highest amount of votes would win.

Again, if it is true that is 50-50, how does this not make sense? No state would have more say than any other state.

Now if you want to say that it’s not equal and not actually 50-50, then that’s a different conversation. I would still support a popular vote. No matter which party won. It’s just what makes the most sense to me.

I can't get any system where Tennessee has 12x the population of another, but only 3.75x the EC votes.

Vermont, D.C., and Wyoming citizens are powerful AF.
