I doubt seriously there was any malintent involved. If the CCP's intent was to cripple the US economy then the CCP is being advised by some of the dumbest economists on the planet because China's economic fortunes are very much intertwined with the US economy. Damage the US consumer and he ain't out there purchasing Chinese-made products.

I don't think it was on purpose, but I do believe it was accidentally released.

Whether or not it was on purpose does not change the fact that they lied their arse off and are still lying, and those lies are the reason the world is in the shape it's in right now.

I'm losing trust in this process. No guarantee that funding will be replenished for the PPP small business fund, and the only bank I could apply through was Regions, which is a big bureaucracy, too. I don't trust either them or the government. Meanwhile, Forbes has an article about the top 1% where they will get a windfall on a tax break that was slipped into the CARES Act. I am a capitalist, but it still pisses me off.

The best comparison would be to its cultural and geo comps - neighbors like Norway and Finland. They have about the same reported case rate as Norway, but about double Finland's. Interestingly though, their death rate is many times higher than its neighbors. 4.5x that of Norway and 8x Finland.

I don't take any of this personally...except the "diehard democrat" I just called out Pelosi the other day and said I didn't agree with them stuffing the stimulus bill. Anyone calling Trump a racist for the travel ban is a goon. I have voted Ind half of my life. I really don't care for the party (I can't imagine anyone loving either party), they just happen to align much more closely with my ideals.

I'm more than happy to say when I think that side is stupid too. Now, let's hear you all poo poo on some repubs or say something Trump has done recently you disagree with.

I don’t work for Clay Travis. I disagree with a large amount of Travis’ ideas. What I like about Clay is that he uses common sense and is against cancel culture and hardcore liberalism which is insanity.
