Wisconsin Supreme Court struck down their stay at home order. Checks and balances.

I think time was an issue. According to a poll, a vast majority were fine with it in late March and in April. But as time went on, that support decreased.

It will be interesting to see if they can put together a plan to have some guidelines as opposed to everything just fully opening back up.

Speaking of beach time, thought I would tell you about the uproar at HHI now since you were there not long ago. The largest employer is SERG - owner of 17 restaurants there. They started dining inside at 50% capacity Monday statewide and a lot of the locations also have outdoor dining. With tourism down - there are plenty of tables available to socially distance. So SERG announced it would allow its employees to individually decide whether they wanted to wear masks and gloves since the state left that up to the restaurant owners. The Hilton Head town council and mayor lost it. The bluster and whine could be heard all the way here in TN. lol. They restricted beach access for a time to their own residents. Tourists staying in rental properties with private beach access could still use it since the state/town had no authority to stop them - just no residents outside of private beach access points. Big uproar. They are going to lose it again next week when the state opens it up to about everything else including community pools. Back in March the same mayor (originally from NJ of course), put out a video nationwide inviting tourists to come and enjoy biking, golfing, tennis and other activities on the island despite closing the beaches. Literally 4 days later he had to rescind that offer and tell tourists they could not come unless they quarantined for 14 days in their lodging. Then they stopped the rental/management companies from booking for several weeks. The governor stepped in on that one. The mayor is nearly 80 years old and the stress is clearly affecting his judgment. Been amusing to watch.

Beaufort County has a population of over 165 K and there have been less than 300 cases even with all of the older residents that dominate it. The anxiety is high from the local powers that be in the southern end of the low country. Hopefully it will have settled down by the time we get there on 6/6. By the time you hit Isle of Palms in July it should be smoother sailing.

Wife and I have been 2 years in a row for our anniversary. We had to postpone to September...hoping no issues by then.

Should be in great shape by then. We will go back, probably the month of October. Being retired we really enjoy the great weather and quieter time of it in October and early November. The temps start getting cooler in late October, but still very nice. September is a better month as well. The seafood for September through November is special in the lowcountry.

We were scheduled for April with the kids/grandkids for a week of it but COVID blew that up. That's why we moved that trip to June.

Yeah, because I can go to the Johns Hopkins website and see that there was 567 new cases yesterday in Tennessee. And 15 deaths.

To go along with 922 new cases yesterday in Georgia. And 54 deaths.

941 new cases yesterday in Florida. And 44 deaths.

877 new cases yesterday in Texas. And 29 deaths.

119 new cases in Oklahoma. And 4 deaths. Given the stories coming out about this is jacking up reservations in the Southwest, these numbers should be red-flagged as likely under-reported.

So, that's 3426 people that tested positive for a virus that can require you be on a ventilator and damage your kidneys, and 146 people that died in those states. Yesterday.

Clay "Vandy grad failed lawyer internet shock jock" Travis can get f@#$ed if he's taking a W based on that noise. He's feeding the masses bulls@#$ so he can get clicks because there's no sports to talk about.

The Ballad of Clay Travis - The Bulwark

In Tennessee its a fact that almost all of those were from prisons.

Nobody cares about that though...evidently those hypothetical deaths don't pay...I mean..matter..as much as hypothetical Covid-19 deaths.

The societal devastation caused by the lockdown is an abstract concept to most people. The mainstream media will NEVER report on it though, keeping it an abstract concept to most people..because they are complicit in the fear mongering that caused it.

It's useful information and I would have loved to seen similar data for the US. That study didn't include the US.

It’s all about November. Have to stay locked down, tank the economy, blame it on trump, and hopefully win the election. No other reason for continued lockdowns, especially when we know this virus is only deadly to a certain group in our population. We should be having targeted protection, not total lockdowns. It’s absurd

I hope they try and keep us locked down until November. We will be in open revolt well before then. Especially, if we can't watch college football.

Football aside we needs everything open. I’ll be forever grateful that my family is fortunate enough to be able to have the means to make it but a lot of people don’t. I truly feel for the single parents out there that barely made ends meet working two jobs and their car just got towed away or they can’t make rent or buy food.

I literally have said that since the beginning, so why didn't we quarantine the highest risk and let it run it's course?

It would have vastly lessened the davastating impacts of the economic suicide that is the lockdown on the 99+ percent of people that are in very little danger of serious effects from the virus.

And California is wanting to shutdown for another three months?? That is insane...I hope the sane people there riot against this stupidity. I mean who does the Cali govt think is going to feed their people? This stupid Kentucky butthole governor is already crying about a half billion in lost tax revenue, and yet wants to continue to drag this out longer and longer...

It’s common sense man. Common sense. Which, to me, proves this is a scam. It isn’t a pandemic anymore, it’s being used as a political weapon

And we all should be proud to have Pruitt as HC. Just a football guy, lives to breathe it..and Fulmer hand picking him should let everyone know it's in good hands. I remember having to defend him that first year. Had to quit reading the RF it got so bad. But now I think things have changed and 90% have embraced the new staff. We up! That's all.
Worst VN ever was hank and kinston calling for Pruitt to be fired every day for 2 months and wishing we would’ve hired leach (lol!)

One thing I've learned is that these so called medical experts don't know ****. Everyone has an agenda and will paint the picture the way that benefits their need. They manipulate data to support whatever conclusions they wish to convey. I don't trust any of these experts on any sides of this.

I don't either.

Those folks are getting hurt the most and I hope they start voicing their displeasure to their elected officials. City, State, and Federal politicians need to stop playing their games and start doing the right thing for the people they represent. People are already mad at the lunacy of how this is being handled and if it goes on much longer people will stop with simple protests. I am very worried that their will be groups that will resort to armed revolt if governments persist with these unconstitutional lockdown orders.

Have you seen the Plandemic video?
