Being successful does not mean you love money, It is all just a game and money is just one byproduct.
That's not what you've been arguing. No one who has argued against you has denied that money is a factor and the biggest factor for some.

Being successful definitely does not mean you love money.... or even make a lot of money. I mentioned earlier a path I didn't take. I turned down more money. And when I sit in a deer stand Saturday morning and watch the sunrise over a frosty bean field... I won't miss that extra money.

Tell that to Joel Osteen and all the tv preachers
Gladly... but there you go with "all" again. There are preachers on TV who are faithful in their preaching and do not do it to make themselves rich.

Not expecting you to know the Bible but as someone who believes in what it teaches... I promise that Osteen and his kind are more offensive to me than you. Part of that is because of what you just did. You lump people like him in with those who do not distort and peddle the Gospel.

In fact... those you point to undermine your point completely. It is the fame and money it brought them that makes them corrupt to the core. Not everyone is corrupt. Shouldn't you be an Osteen or Paula White fan? They teach that its OK to be greedy and use God to get what you want... Osteen hasn't been involved in a sexual scandal but Paula White, Benny Hinn, and numerous other "name it and claim it" preachers have.

Nobody said that. But you have been arguing that money is the only thing that matters. Then you had to imply that the Lord loves successful people as opposed to unsuccessful people when talking about money. Actually, He loves the spiritually successful people (born again Christians that deny self and follow Him) regardless of status or wealth in this world.

LOL... Don't try to use scripture unless you take the time to understand the quote in context.

The context of the passage makes it clear that we are not to judge by standards that WE contrive. In Luke 6, we find a complimentary passage to Matthew 7 that enables understanding... followed just a few verses later by a command to judge the fruit people produce. That Luke passage is also where we find the command to remove the plank from our own eye before trying to remove the speck out of someone else's.

The Bible doesn't prohibit "judgment". Far from it. It warns about the gravity of doing it and against using a personal standard rather than God's standard.

I don’t disagree but aren’t you a bible thumper?

He’s a hypocrite of the highest order. His heart is filled with so much hate I doubt there’s any room for Jesus. It’s actually difficult to see being a believer myself.

Yep, I mentioned he uses a lot of profanity for someone who is a brother in Christ and his response was similar (put me on ignore). Not sure why he can’t handle it.

Bunch of judgmental POC in here. Saved but still human is a thing and Pharasees still alive and up in this place. People will GOSSIP about people and that's ok praise God. People like to put people down to feel superior or make them feel good about their own failings. And yes, I know I didn't spell Pharasees right but do not care because you guys are not worth the time to look it up.

That's the best you got?
Best I got? Just calling out the hypocrisy. What people believe isn’t any of my business, but don’t claim to be something when your actions show something totally different. Obviously this isn’t directed at you but find the lie
