Then why don't you pray for him instead of bash him. Work out your own salvation and yes, with fear and trembling but I like we have an advocate constantly advocating for us instead of making a naughty list like Santa and people who go to church. You call someone a hypocrite and you have never even met him. Look in the mirror and maybe see if you should change some of that. Jesus loves and advocates for you and for McGill.

When teams are running 85+ plays, we are going to have players with "lots" of tackles. That still doesn't make him a good player. Banks is ok and that is about his limit. Too many missed tackles, not great at fighting off blocks, and he has trouble in pass protection. This is not a knock on him but the reality we face with such limited players on the team. I do agree that if we have to rely on freshman next year, it could be long year unless they are a complete stud.

Listen, my points are these. I'm not saying he's Al or KCy or even 2nd coming of AJ Johnson. I do think he will make an NFL roster. He showed us loyalty when we needed it and has played 90 snaps a game. He's who we have. Considering, he's done well.

Kid needa help back there.

I love the guys loyalty. Yes he has played his heart out. But that doesn’t equate to good LB play. I honestly don’t know what you are seeing that makes you believe he will make an NFL roster as a LB. Dude all year long the middle of the field has been wide open. Running QBs have made us look terrible. Even QBs that don’t really run have made us look bad. That falls on LB play. You think if we had UF, UGA ir even UKs LBs we would look this bad? No.

Banks is a TN guy and a good dude. I get it. But if you think he is anywhere near a good LB then you just aren’t watching. Considering what that he has done well? He is our starting LB. I will admit he has looked decent at times but for the most part he just isn’t good.

Banks is our best linebacker….. one of our best defensive players and we are extremely lucky to have him.
