So what does NPA get out of the deal? I get they’re preparing kids for college football but why are they specifically involved in steering kids towards certain programs? Why are so many instate kids being routed to UK all the sudden?

Heupel told Destin Wade he wasn't a college QB. So he AND his brother went to UK.
DE1 suggests Heupel should have told him he would get a shot at QB and ultimately move him to WR WHEN ...NOT IF...when it didn't work out.
- VN then responded that DE1 was being deceitful for that suggestion lol.

So, y'all get mad at him for supporting the wade's decision to go to UK (because Heupel won't let Destin play QB). Then when he suggested Heupel tell him the opposite YOU ALL STILL GET MAD HIM....

And yes. Simpson is a better QB right now than Jackson. If Hooker wasn't coming back, Simpson would step right in and produce. Not because star ranking. But because of his profile.

I think he, intentionally or not, says things that make people draw the conclusion that NPA is getting the best deals for their kids, and Tennessee is not paying enough which makes him mad because he is a Vol fan. Other things about the situations like promising someone a position you have no intention of letting them play can also be true.

He has admitted in the past to openly steering kids away from TN because of what he thinks about the state of the program. He has trashed the program at every chance. I mean the dude actually thinks Cornbread McGump was a good coach. Even trying to defend scum like De1 in the slightest is ridiculous.

Debatable. I was talking about what he posts. As far as what he knows, Butchna has actually seen pics that prove he has inside information. NPA kids go to KY and TCU a lot so conclusions can be drawn about NPA if not him. Easier to believe that nothing happens though.

I think the main thing should be which of these QB best fits what CJH wants to do on the football field.. I am comfortable that Jackson's skill set is closer to Hooker's and that has worked pretty good this year. I will go forward with the HOPE that Simpson's decision moved us in a direction that will more greatly benefit us in the long haul. It is a possibility, no way to determine probability.

I can understand this kid and his FB coach father seeing a safer path by him going to BAMA and have zero ill will for them. I can even SPECULATE that it was easier to go there by leaving the state rather than going to the Big Brother school to your father's. It is a safer bet that Saban can keep him upright better than our guy until our lines look more like theirs. The success of their current QB will provide some massive pressure for him to deal with and to his credit he seems ready to accept a challenge. It will take more than courage to succeed.

We will not be able to avoid seeing if he makes the transition from Tennessee 2A ball to NCAA D1 ball. He will or he won't. In the meantime, we should concentrate on seeing if the guy who wanted to be a VOL can earn the right to lead our team on a continued trend up the pecking order in college football. He also will or he won't. All I think I know is that our coach locked in on Jackson very quickly and has made every move he could to keep him. We will never know which one he would prefer if simply given a pick one only option. Doubt his decision would be based on ratings services stars.

Couldn't say, I don’t know the man personally. I'm not sure he's even in that type of role at NPA. At least I have no recollection of him saying so (someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that).
