Outside of 2022, has there been a TN/Bama game where they didn't get the calls lol?

I fully expect us to be on the wrong side of the calls this week. There's already too much data out there that says we're on the wrong side, regardless of opponent or venue. Throw Bama in to the mix... Yeah. Cups on.

I think we should reconsider giving @Glitch some sort of game week duty, including even backup game thread poster. He obviously cares a lot, gives his all, and wants the best for our Vols and Volnation. He fell into depression and went missing after the loss to AR and the FL game thread was posted by @OGbabyaviVol rather than @nicksjuzunk . It must’ve really hurt his pride to see another poster, without a shred of opposition, take the duty he has so longed to make his own. Sure the one time he did this before didn’t go so well, but dogonnit he’s good enough, he’s smart enough, and people like him.

Let’s b2a Bama, get @Glitch involved once again, and put the perceived game thread curse he bears to bed once and for all. I, for one, think we lost that particular game because we sucked and not because of a glitch.

@Enki_Amenra could then even teach Sally that @Glitch totally redeemed himself and so she should spare his life.

What say ye? (don’t lynch me)

Every single call against Bama in '22 was definitely a penalty. Verified. Not a single one was questionable. Bama was whining and going ballistic because some definite and unquestionable penalties against them were actually called.

That doesn't mean Bama didn't get obviously incorrect no-calls in their favor in the '22 game. They got at least one no-call DPI in the endzone that cost us a touchdown.

But yeah, I think anyone who pays attention has officiating and OL and their top too concerns going into this weekend. The history on the former is ENORMOUS. (I don't care what backstory one hypotheses.)

They're just reminding Birmingham that the steal needs to be on for Bama. Only way Bama won last year.

Put the penny’s or pebbles in the bottle and put the cap back on. Shake like crazy whenever Alabama has the ball. It’s loud and annoying.

Also, bring a tazer. If you see Tennessee fans near you not making noise on third down, taze them.

Not even going to read the posts you **wads posted. My assessment. Bama and TN both are susceptible to give up some long yardage. Both teams are also more than capable of locking down and stopping you in your tracks...on a roll or not.

My first score prediction of the season.

23-21

Don't know who gets what, but feel it's going to be that tough. Don't even know how the 23 gets there. A team gets a safety. Someone misses an extra point, the other team gets a field goal. Who knows. It's Bama vs Tenn!

Also could be a blowout, one way or the other. 🖕

Went to Amazon to buy some liquidIV hydration powders and this randomly appeared on my “keep shopping for…” list.

I haven’t purchased a cigar lighter from Amazon in years. And I’ve never searched for an orange one.

Has to be a sign from the football gods.

So I had to order it. Will be delivered tomorrow. And I will use it for the first time Saturday night, in section CC, as Rocky Top is blasting on the PA.

Locked on Bama today was the crossover with Eric Cain.

Nothing really noteworthy.

They did mention the Alabama field goal kicker was only 1/2 this year. Seems odd to have only kicked two field goals this far into the season.

They said - and I didn’t realize this - that this is Alabamas first true SEC road game. But that DeBoer usually coaches well in big games.

And the Alabama guy basically said Ryan Williams is the key to the game for them.

Alabama guy picked Alabama to win 30-24
EC picked Vols 30-27.

Both made their picks with the qualifier that they’re not real confident in them.

Arguably one of the more questionable decisions that he hasn’t already.

Smith, Williams, and Wingo are all 5* freshmen WRs whose coaching staffs have found ways to immediately utilize their athleticism while we’re still letting Nimrod look consistently average over getting Matthews looks.
