Only 6 points scored after 1st 8 minutes of 1st quarter to this defense that we were gashing the entire 1st half. Very sad. Butch is going to go down with his OC hire, if something doesn't change quickly. I hate this apathetic feeling, where I just don't care anymore. So much excitement to start the season, and after 5 games, I'm almost ready for it to be over. We have regressed, and look lost. Oh well. Catch you homies later.

Butch is here through 2016. We find ourselves in the same situation as with Dooley. Lame duck coach that will probably fire some assistants but won't be able to attract any because they'll see the writing on the wall and we'll end up with Sunseri type hires.

yeh butch is a joke man. The passing game and this O Line is just so embarrassing. Secondary was brutal tonight against a bunch of slow ass receivers. Medley is not worth a scholly. Unacceptable whats going on here right now.

We're gonna regress our way to 4-8, if somebody in this program doesn't find some way to get through to these players. If that's still possible.

Just like 2012 except there is more talent to work with on the roster. His goose is cooked.

For those that blame the players and not the coaches - who sends the individual players in to play? If you don't like Dobbs and the coaches agreed, they would play Dormady. If you don't like Malone and the coaches agreed, they would not play him. Which would eliminate throwing his direction. If you have a couple of future NFL RB's in the back field that have gashed the opponent at times, why do you stop using them? If you have a future NFL TE that can get open and catch the ball, why don't you throw to him more than once a game? It goes on and on. Bielema deuced his bed in the second half and still won the game.

Honestly don't know what to think. Butch has done so much to change this program. We were in shambles after Dooley. But Butch seems too stubborn to change anything. He needs new coordinators IMO. I don't know...I'm done thinking about it. It is what it is, I guess.

I'm so glad I stopped expecting anything from the Vols after last week. This loss and every loss for the rest of this season won't affect me at all.

I know all that I need to know about this staff. They aren't the answer.

In retrospect, firing Fulmer was the worst thing we ever did. We've killed our football program.

Okie loss - 60 % players, 40% coaches fault
UF loss - 40% players, 60% coaches fault
Arky loss - 70% players, 30% coaches fault

In the end, none of it matters, they are all still losses that could have been wins.

It seems to me, Butch made his bed with the Debord hire. Go get a guy from the TCU or Baylor tree and the talent we have on offense right now is unstoppable.

I just hope some of our idiot fans leave the coaches' families out of this. They support their husband/dad through all of this. We get to get on a message board and question everything they do. Their families have to shed tears with them and deal with all of the pressure, although they have done nothing wrong.

We were beaten by a better prepared, better coached team. AR played their best game of the season, yet we should have won. Sad day. And it is not because CPF was fired.

If we get outbid by Texas, that's fine, but not going after him is inexcusable at this point. It's obvious this staff is great at everything not related to football. Kelly would be the big hire that we've wanted the last three trips to the plate but hasn't been available. It's a Saban/Meyer/Carrol/Harbaugh type hire. He's about to get canned in Philly when they got 6-10.

Sad thing is, I legitimately think Butch could be elite. I think he has the chops for it. Right now his problem, in my opinion, is his coordinators. I think the position coaches are good (and a huge reason for the recruiting success). However, Jancek has regressed and it seems Debord was a mistake hire.
