‘23 Recruiting Forum: Official Austin Peay Pregame/Game Thread

I needed to be brought back to earth over this team. We're going to be ok but Milton and the receivers have to get on the same page. Getting Cooper Mayes back will help us too.
So far, Milton has unfortunately been the QB I feared we would see this year after I re-watched the Orange Bowl a few weeks before the season began.

UF lost to a really good team. Bama is losing to a good team. UK isn’t a top 10 team favored by almost 40 at home. Vandy? Really? Missouri isn’t ranked.

You can put lipstick in a pig all you want. We aren’t a good team. We likely get skull drugged by UF.
Utah barely squeaked by Baylor that lost to Texas State. We looked bad tonight but UF is not a good team this year. I am not saying 100% we beat them in the swamp, but they lost to a mediocre Utah team pretty badly.

Tamu lost today
Uf has lost
Bama is losing
UK barely scraped by today
Vandy lost
Mizzou is mizzou

Relatively speaking...
It’s nice to know that we should feel okay about playing like crap because a bunch of other teams look bad too.

I'm not going to let one off game change m mind. Sloppy offensive play, horrible horrible officiating didn't help anything. How about we wait and see how they bounce back next week.
Yeah...you hang in there for us all buddy...I have zero confidence after watching that. What's funny is that I thought I was the voice of realism all summer...but this was way worse than anything I foresaw.

Milton ain't it, I want the guy to be it, I like him so much..but he just ain't it...period....and the WRs suck....and the OL is even worse than I thought they would be.

I hope I'm wrong.

I am sorry....I usually don't freak out like this...but this turned my stomach.
