'24 Recruiting Forum: Official Florida Pre-game/Game Thread

There's a very simple explanation. Nico breaks the pocket and neither Heard nor Campbell know how to just stand in the way when it happens.

Called or not, they have an arm across the rusher's chest every single time Nico rolls out.
It's never about the calls the officials make, it's about the ones they don't call. 😉

And this never happens with our opponents and this DL?

Do you realize there hasn’t been a single holding call on this DL in conference play?

To say nothing of the ticky tack BS last holding call, it seems our OL is held to a different standard than the rest of the conference. Prove me wrong.

The last hold on Campbell was cheap. Sampson chipped inside. Campbell had jersey inside the shoulders. He didn’t reach. We’ve had so many that weren’t called on our DL that were much worse. It’s really puzzling.

Show me the plays you think there's holding. When we get called for holding, they show the replay and it is blatant holding. So I don't know what to tell you.

SEC refs are f'ing terrible. Sampson having to score twice is a good example of that. But you guys will never fail to lose me with the "It's a conspiracy!!1!" stuff after every game we play that's remotely close.

Just watch each play closely, especially the longer runs. Please tell me that the UF OL isn’t doing the same thing Campbell did on his hold. It’s all out there. Just have to watch. All someone has to do is post the headlock on Barron from last year’s Bama game, too.

That’s BS and you know it. The last holding was marginal, at best. And if the first two drive killing holds were valid then there were a number of those I could see on UF in real time.

Pray tell, with our DL, tell me what the chances are of not a single holding call on this defense happening in conference play this year? We don’t even get the benefit at home games. This isn’t bad officiating at this point, it’s corrupt and blatant bias.

As long as they have people that refuse to believe that corruption could exist, people to carry their water, they'll continue to do it.

The Vols have one if not the best d lines in the country and We've went 3 straight games without a holding call against our opponents. It's so obvious yet here we are.
Exactly! They are blatantly biased. Until that organization is given a terminal enema, it won't change.

We’re not a playoff team at this point. Beating Florida will sugarcoat the situation but a win is a win. Always great to beat them. However, many problems to fix. At least it was a good showing for the recruits in house.
Literally no one is a playoff team at this point. It's the second week of Oct.

But if you mean "Bama doesn't deserve to make the playoffs based on their record and what we've seen so far" kind of stuff, go ahead and diss Bama.

Surely ND losing at home to NIU means they're "don't deserve the playoffs per you."
