Please don't lose...I hope Heard remembers he has to actually do something good if he wants a big NFL payday in the future...he did untold damage to that future against the Hogs. That is one of the worst, if not THE worst effort I have EVER witnessed by a talented Vol OT...pathetic.

SEC refs are f'ing terrible. Sampson having to score twice is a good example of that. But you guys will never fail to lose me with the "It's a conspiracy!!1!" stuff after every game we play that's remotely close.

You are blind...or just too lazy to go back and watch our games and see at least 20 plays that extreme holding that could/should have been called on our opponents.

Yup. People forget we’ve had qbs with much worse accuracy in the years between Bray and Hooker haha. Hooker was phenomenal and really spoiled our fans. Nico gotta step up though. He looks like he’s hearing foot steps every play cause the oline.

It’s amazing how this never happens to the best DL in the country when opposing quarterbacks break the pocket.

The call by Banks late in the game when James went on a stunt right up the middle was a thing of beauty! I think it forced them to punt. They were running the quarterback draw because you could see the quarterback was about to tuck it.

The problem is when you start to call blatant holding on ol you start to see it on most plays, The tackles are really a liability at this point

You could dress Kent State in the gata uniform and they would give us fits. Always play down to them.

The offense is not very good right now, I get it. But it was refreshing to see way more creativity. Nico just didn’t connect. He’s struggling. Not sure what you do, but I think you keep it cooking with tempo and roll him out and take those shots, we can lean on defense to keep us in games. He’s gotta learn but he won’t if we keep it vanilla.

To explain, once again, what you see from B'ham's cheating officials; our state and flagship university sued the NCAA and took a big bite out of the azzes of their crony network of thieves, manipulators, liars and general scumbags. What you see in response on the field should have been expected.

This is a typical reaction from enterprises such as these when their money trains and power are disrupted. The evidence of this is right in front of all of us. When smacked down by the courts their first response was to try to enforce their rules anyway. That was also smacked down. So then they went with spreading money around to retain power with the current "settlement" that will also go through suits in court and be proven illegal under current laws.

Those who do not cooperate will be punished. The only way to excel on the field is to beat both the officials and the opponent soundly. Voltello and the Diamond Vols took that approach a few years ago. Tennessee stubborn azz pride and wear the black hats. They hold the trophy today. It will need to be the same with football and basketball.

Our goals are attainable if Nico and the OT's can get it together in time. It is time to put on more steam.

Yeah, defense there’s not much too complain about. They just get left on the field too much at times but I think they are great to elite. Hate losing Pili. Could definitely tell that was a big loss early on tonight but that group battled.

Offensively, they are a sh*t show outside of Sampson. Bad QB play. Don’t really have a great option after him so we’re screwed there. Atrocious OL play. Campbell and Heard are the two worst tackles I’ve seen. I still think Elarbee has got to go. I know Squirrel and Bru are dinged up but dang they were pedestrian before their injuries. I give them props for battling and competing through those injuries tonight. Gotta see some Matthews. Scrap Nimrod. Couldn’t catch a cold if his life depended on it.

It’s a W I know. Doesn’t matter how, just Win. It’s also against UF. I get it. But taking a step back this is the absolute worst and I mean that. Absolute worst UF team in the last 30 years. And their QB1 and RB1 were essentially knocked out the 2nd half of that game, including OT. We got lucky tbh. I think we lose if those 2 players don’t go down. But they did. You gotta have some luck every now and then. True.

There’s no celebrating this win. Just acknowledge that they got lucky and got the W and move on. The offense played like arse again for the 3rd straight game and almost cost us b2b losses. Heupel needs to find some other dudes and play them. I don’t think this is the right combo on offense. And if it is all we’ve got then I stand behind my “we’re not a playoff team”. Offensive lineup needs to revisited in a big way. Afraid Heupel has been figured out and he’s just a one trick pony so this will be interesting.
