He’s got once in a generation talent. He’s clearly struggling right now, he’s a freshman, that’s on coaches to try and fix the funk. If he was an upper class man write him off, but it’s just too early to right now.

Rollouts, draw/shovel pass when they blitz hard, keep trying the deep shots.

Roll outs don’t work because we get called for holding. Deep shots are missed by Nico. Shovel passes all game won’t do it.

This is a disaster anyway you look at it.

I was thinking this during Florida's last series.
I know fans are frustrated, but Neyland doesn't sound all that loud right now.

From a TV standpoint at least.

My personal view on this is coaches know there is a big gap. Also think if it continues into third quarter you may have to at least consider it. At some point everyone has to be judged on performance.

We’ve seen JH be scared sh*tless all year to draw up a pass play in an obvious passing situation.

And on that last interception, we were shown why.

I agree. He knows what we have. And he knows it isn’t great.

It would be ashame the defense gave up to manny first downs in that first half but they’ve also saved our ass and given us a chance. They play hard. That side of the ball has no confidence issue.

His mind doesn't just reset every play. When you've had 6 straight quarters with bad protection, it doesn't just go away because for one play the protection held.

Looking directly at your throw every play and not seeing the open throws isn’t from bad protection. It’s from lack of seeing the field which also doesn’t help out the OL because Nico is holding the ball for way too long. A lot of the OL woes are on Nico.

This is almost an exact repeat of the Arkansas game

The defense is playing well, but these last two games, they aren't playing elite. What they are getting is very timely stops and frankly luck.

Which, ya know, a good defense should be a playoff ticket with Heupel.

I think I owe Milton an apology. And not from the perspective of hating on Nico. We have bigger offensive problems than personnel. Things have changed since 2022 in terms of what we're doing schematically and how other teams are playing us.

Coach Josh has to evolve his offense. Sec coaches will adjust. Offense doesn’t stand still. That two TE set a few weeks ago was great. He needs to trust his innovation

I get it, I really do. But this isn’t your daddy’s CFB. He’s the $8m man, this isn’t acceptable. Folks have every right to be upset. If this were the last I would be all in agreement with your take. And it isn’t just Nico, CJH sold the collective on this, he should have had him ready too.
