Let's do that and watch someone grab up the best coach we've had since Cutcliffe.
Yep that’s what would happen,
But if he loses to Vandy he’s never going to be a championship coach, he’ll be uts coach equivalent to UGA’s previous coach.
I’d rather do what they did and get a championship caliber one.

I don’t expect we’ll lose to Vandy.
I think Huepel is better than that.

The game turned when Thornton had that drop in the first half that would have been a first down.. Next play.. False start.. We punted and UGA scored 14 points after that.

Then it was just a cornucopia of dumb penalties and other mistakes... And it goes without saying.... The mistakes must stop... So frustrating.

And I can't believe our defense got worked over like that. That shocked me.

And not too pile on but we got out coached to boot. They got their team ready, got what they needed from the o line, beck and Mike bobo. We were largely the same, expert the first qtr production we finally saw from the offense.

The good...Sampson was great and I thought Peyton ran really well... Nico looked really good, at times...Tight ends were very active. Over all, I thought Ricky Gibson was having a good game till that face mask.. That was a huge play. Will Brooks continues to be solid player. The whole first qtr. Looked as good as we have all year.

Oh well...I knew this game could go that way... Sucks that it did. I'm assuming we'll be jettisoned from the playoff, so that'll be fun.

Finish 10-2.. And see what happens. GBO🍊

We’ll be fine against Vandy. Not saying it’ll be a cake walk, but we will be fine. As the season has progressed, the book has come out in Pavia. The defense had a bad game tonight, but I think we will make life hard for him and expect our run game will persevere.

Georgia is better than we thought they were. We played them tough at home.

We had to play perfect to win. And we didnt.

Inexcusable this season is the regression of OL, WR issues, and offensive playcalling. Arkansas game was just bad.

Really been bailed out by Dylan Sampson so many times.

Love the Vols. Get better, figure out the defense and go get a playoff spot.

I will say I think Kelsey Pope is a good receivers coach. Just think the play calling is putting the wide receivers, as well as Nico, in some less than desirable spots.

Personally, I disagree. I don’t think he’s done anything to suggest he’s a good on field coach. Two years in a row our WRs can’t catch the ball. This offense is not much better than the Joe Milton offense. And that’s mostly because both last year and this year the WRs can’t catch a cold.

I remember we ran on third down in the fourth quarter a route concept that included an outside receiver and an inside receiver running an in route. Clogged everything up and almost led to an INT. Send the inside receiver deep and that opens up the middle of the field for the outside receiver.

I’m not a football schematics savant, but there are just some route concepts that are puzzling when you think about it.
Yeah I don’t like when they all run the dig route or just all run the same route in general. Some of it has to do with the receivers not choosing the right route to run.

We didn’t have to play perfect at all to beat Georgia. If the D line showed up at all, we would have had a shot.

Look at our rushing numbers for the 4 years he’s been here. The yardage numbers support it too. Bit if you can’t see that guys are open, then nothing else to discuss. Just like Milton missing guys in the Pitt game in 2021. Guys running fee, so it’s not the scheme. It’s ridiculous what people will say when you lose a game.
This scheme is too basic to beat Elite teams. Kirby has this offense figured out to a T.

When did I say I don’t see guys wide open? Because I never said that.

Scheme is fair but if your players aren’t running it effectively for 2 years in a row then to me it falls back on the HC. There is more to being a guru than scheme.

At a high level it was a 1-score game deep into the 4th…..regardless of how we got there….I don’t know why some of you think we are going to drop to 20th from the sound of it.

little things cost us game.
#6 missing an easy block on the punter on Boo carters long return cost us a touchdown.

Donte dropping a wide open 20+ yard sideline throw…

“Facemask penalty”

“Illegal substitution”

“False start”

“beck’s non false start call”
(I’ve never been a it’s the refs guy, but man we get short end of stick every game)

Then Add our Linebackers getting destroyed by what have been below average tight ends…

Smh SMH
Bingo - we made mistakes and the refs gleefully sealed the deal

LOL.........No, it means I remember hiring and firing horrible coaches every three years for the past 15 to 20 years.

Who's that home run guy that's can't miss better than Heupel?

Wait until the morning and sober up a little before you start firing the head coach.
Yall remember that Danny White Guy?
He’s been pretty damn good at hiring coaches.
He hired Huep when you couldn’t get a half way proven winner to even consider this dumpster fire job.
I’d suspect it would be a lot different now.

Yall do you realize I based that on him losing to Vandy which I don’t expect to happen.

And you realize you are 100% backing a guy that hypothetically loses to a mediocre Vandy.
That’s Butch Jones, Pruitt territory but with a much more talent to work with!

I think you’re the one that needs to sober up
