Hard to argue this, I still maintain some of this is play calling and execution in the moment and checks at the line. Nico needs to take a leap next year.....So, why dont we do basic things like pass routes for running backs, and screens. Also its short middle or deep outside. The pass route tree isnt very creative.
Right, so I'm just saying be decently accurate in your criticism. OL recruiting and/or development is the problem. That's on Heupel. No, But when the Guru is the HC and responsible for the below avg OL he is first in line to blame for the poor OL.
Did UGA make a huge mistake when they fired MR?Hiring coaches is a crap shoot, amplified even more by the NIL era. He hired Heupel because he was familiar with him....... You know who he was after before he pivoted to Heupel? The guy that's likely about to be on the hot seat for not getting it done in a conference that's less competitive than this one.
My original request of you stands. Firing Heupel would be a huge mistake.
Because garbage OL play means you can't have exotic and creative route trees. Those tend to take time to develop. So, why dont we do basic things like pass routes for running backs, and screens. Also its short middle or deep outside. The pass route tree isnt very creative.
No. Lol Nobody knew the offense in 22 until we played UGA, then Kirby laid the blueprint, and now everyone follows it.Because garbage OL play means you can't have exotic and creative route trees. Those tend to take time to develop.
You saw what the offense can be when the OL was good in 22. Nobody could stop it. No guru looks like a guru with bad OL play. Shame on Heupel for letting our OL get to such a bad place, but Heupel knows how to scheme.
Im over Squirrel. Nothing personal, I’m sure he’s a great kid, but the production has just not been there this year.Probably Squirrels best game as an all around receiver but this ain’t gonna beat someone on the road:

WR room once again let us down. Donte Thornton where ya at bro?
Nobody had film on Heupel after all those years coaching? No. Lol Nobody knew the offense in 22 until we played UGA, then Kirby laid the blueprint, and now everyone follows it.
Drags dont take a long time, short in and out by the TE, Tables by the Running back is quick.
Thats before we even get to the lack of crossers, posts, and corners in the offense.
Ok let’s talk about how the problem of UGA and Beck all year has been an OL problem and how they schemed plays that worked tonightRight, so I'm just saying be decently accurate in your criticism. OL recruiting and/or development is the problem. That's on Heupel.
Let's stop talking about how bad his scheme is and how he's not an offensive guru, because clearly the problem is the quality of the OL.
Lol, I'm not...Golesh was better than Halze is right now...but Golesh wasn't some magic in a bottle...Go to bed, your drunk.
Our DL didn't come to play. It's that simple. Their OL did come to play and our DL didn't. We won a total of about 5 1:1 matchups on passing plays the entire game on the DL. I counted 2 total pressures, but I may have missed a couple. It wasn't scheme. Our guys weren't winning one on one matchups.Ok let’s talk about how the problem of UGA and Beck all year has been an OL problem and how they schemed plays that worked tonight
Because we can’t really talk about anything we did different tonight to help out our bad OL, it was just the same ole same ole we been doing
