Stopping the run is our strength on D. We’ll slow Snell down enough to keep it close. Chandler and JJ back making plays on offense, more down field passing this game and we’ll score enough to get the W.

27-20 Vols

Statistically our passing defense is better actually.

69th in run defense and 43rd in pass defense

change that ish up
you would also have only a small window to look at them thru the edge of the T looking at their bench when the team turns right to go to our side. The Pride fills up the rest of the view. wouldn't have much of an impact imo.

"A lot" is subject to debate. He gets hit hard "a lot" on quick throws..
He gets hit sometimes before he completes the play action fake. I get that Jg could be faster, but to act like the OL is protecting fine and the hits he has taken are all his fault is absolute garbage

About the 3.5 spread

it reflects that Vegas isn't overreacting to Tennessee playing pretty terrible on Saturday and factoring in a potential emotional letdown for the 'Cats. Also, how much different would perception of UK be if Mizzou could have gotten a first down in the 2nd half and won that one.

Very good analysis. But don't ever forget that in Muschump's last season as Florida's coach, they lost to Georgia Southern. And Georgia Southern attempted ZERO passes in that game. ZERO passes equals ZERO passing yards.

Great find.

They attempted 3 passes, but completed none... and beat Florida

Yes it is garbage, but it would be ridiculous, and disingenous for me to say he doesn't have bad awareness issues at this point.

He is not a great QB by any means, he is a decent one imo, but with this OL almost any other team would be down to using a WR at QB. Chryst and McBride should thank JG for being so tough and saving their health.

The kids physical resilience is actually amazing at this point, I don't think I have ever seen a tougher QB..maybe Danny Wuerfel..we beat that son of a beech into the mud, and he just kept getting up...I just wish JG could do the rest of the QB as good as DW..lol.

28-24 Vols.

Got a feeling.
Deer Lord hope you're right this time. I hope JP gets another AU performance out of them..I just don't think they have it in them. Between the willing but too oft injured, and willing but just football dumb screwups...and worst of all..the pathetic, no heart, uninterested, quitter/neverstarted's...this team just has too few real warriors on the roster to compete with decent teams consistently.

I think we'll sell out to stop the run. If that works I predict the game will come down to our ability to pressure the QB. We'll be playing man-to-man against their receivers and we if we can help them out with QB pressures, we may have a shot.

I expect a low-scoring, defensive struggle. I really don't like the match-up of our O-line versus their defensive front 7.

UK - 17
UT - 13

How do our dbs stack up against their WRs? I know their qb has a horrible arm, but how well can our young dbs cover the WRs?

Trying to be an optimist...

I think we find our offense again this week and roll-up three touchdowns and a couple field goals on the Wildcats. Our D plays another good game and holds Snell to around 100 yards. UK scores late to make it a closer game.

UT 27
UK 21

If we're hosting Haselwood, who has gone on record as saying he wants to go to a school that showcases the receivers, then I think we're going to see a game plan similar to what we saw at Auburn.

Hopefully we can jump on them in the first half while Darius West is out.
