@GuerinEmig: #Sooners Eric Striker asked about playing SEC: "I don't know why people blow gas up their ass all the time."
I'd assume blowing gas up an ass is something like butt chugging?
Breaker I remember you not being as high on Moseley as some of us, me included. Was your hesitation in him that he was not good at deep ball coverage like what we saw on Saturday? Did he play poorly or just the victim of some dimes from Johnson?
From what it looked like Saturday, the throw game will be predicated off of the run game. So the run will set up the pass. We have built in play action off of our designed run sets. So there are always several options on certain plays.
Ethan Wolf could be the biggest beneficiary of anyone in this offense.
I'd love to see North get that deep post that Malone got. Or the jump ball Williams got. Personally........ He's a man-child we need to feed. Best WR on the team. IMO
I keep seeing talk about OK's offensive line being inexperienced. Did they lose some guys to graduation/NFL or what's the real story? I know they've got Brown at one tackle spot.
I actually hope he (Brown) makes this game personal for him. Will distract from his focus, which isn't a good thing for him with 9, 56, 4, 5 and 42 coming at him before his kick step.
I agree with you about North. Worley had confidence in North. It may seem odd to say this but I'm not sure Dobbs has had the game time opportunity to build the same confidence in North as a receiver.

North would've came down with that deep post ball. He has damn strong hands. North had some good plays against OU last year. DeBord needs to make that a focal point in the gameplan.
I'm sure Debord has got the first 8-10 plays scripted right out of the gate. One of those, needs to be a 5 yard hitch to North. Get him going early and it's a nice rhythm throw for Dobbs.
I don't think he had a target all game. I've got a good feeling he comes alive vs OU though.
6 catches
81 yards
TD on a slant pattern from the 8
His stats would be better on 6 catches. IMO
I'd love to see him with 8-10 touches a game. Let Howard and Pearson work off him. Those would be my 3 wide starters. Let Jennings, Malone, Smith, P.Williams and Johnson spell them but not a whole lot. I hate this heavy rotation at WR. Go with your top players period.
