JJ's was a penalty. I think the call on Callaway was ticky-tack.

I would also argue the PI call. PI is always tricky, so what I look for most is consistency. I saw SC DBs get away with similar physicality in the game. Either call it both ways or don't call it at all.

Look, you play in the crap games, you get the crap crews. We’re going to have to overcome it at some point. When you are a better program, you get the better (by SEC standards) officials. Till then, we can’t blame anyone but ourselves.

Yes, LB play is lacking. I always “stan” for Sapp but the kid isn’t on the field enough. He is solid and consistent but gets taken out too often. No TD while he is on the field tonight......

Welcome to the argument that has been going on for ~10 years now. And yet we still have the same crap year in year out. Basketball is horrible, too. Especially Valentine. Horrible ref and yet still a ref.

It goes back further. It was going on when I was at UT in the early '90's. Maybe it's always been going on. At some point, you think they'd address a way to get it out of the ref's hands, or at the very least, actually admonish refs for poor officiating. Instead they try to cover it up, downplay it, or simply make half-ass excuses.
