We need to come out and start the season looking like a Tennessee football team. I need to see that before I can honestly say that I have any expectations. Even if we lose, we need to look like we're capable of getting out of our own way.
Bingo! His don’t quit when the going gets tough attitude helps add to the culture that Pruitt has instilled in this program. That in and of itself can be worth some wins down the road, because the whole team buys into it. I really hope the young man overcomes everything and shows out this year to shut everybody up. I was against him early on last year too, but When that young man came back and played with screws in his wrist to help the team win, I couldn’t pull against him. That is what being a Vol is all about… Giving your all no matter what.Hate to say it, w/o JG and those leaders we dont have any momentum heading into '20.
It was a whole team affair
But we didn’t and won 6 straight to finish the season.
Maybe the comment CJC made about him not understanding the route progression might have been the issue with zone coverage. If they have worked on the route progression understanding this might show up as better QB play against zone coverage. He still can't make a quick decision with the football, and he only makes one read if its there the play can work. He excels at man coverage because he can just throw it up and let the WR get it. His best play has always been a play where the WR can high point the ball or the back shoulder.
I expect him to play decent against SC because they play man coverage almost exclusively, but if they show him a zone and get any pressure on him, it's over and he will make mistakes with the football.
Them there is the sweetest words I've heard in a longggg timeIt's the day before game day
Probably not but I'm sure @Atlanta VOL will make sure he gets there in case the need arisesWill he even travel in the 70?
