The point is to win the game, AND improve as a team.

The game was won. Missed opportunity to improve as a team (by getting Nico live reps).

Even weirder that it bothers you so much when people point out that it might not be a bad idea to get your backup QB some reps when the opportunity presents itself.

We all enjoyed the win. No way not to enjoy putting Beamer and Rattler in their place. But it’s very valid to say that it was a missed opportunity to not let Nico play the last possession.

Next year isn’t the point. If Milton goes down, we’ll be throwing in a quarterback who has very little playing time under his belt. It was a very safe situation to let him go in and throw the ball a few times. Not sure why pointing that out bothers some of you so much. Very strange

Yes, they would have been meaningful. Let him play that last possession with the full playbook at his disposal. Any rep you can get a true freshman quarterback is something he can learn from.
