The full team assessed Personal Foul is the dumbest call I’ve ever seen. The fact that players from both teams were ejected for ticky tack stuff is ridiculous. The refs should’ve known now to call any more PFs unless they were just horrendous.

That was ridiculous. I hope that crew loses all assignments.

Disagree with this.

Saying, we have agreed to part ways at the end of this year but want Butch to be able to finish out the year would go a long way for many in this fan base.

Players could rally behind him (if they like him), fans know a change is coming, other coaches know there will be an opening, etc

Counter points

Players are equally likely to develop apathy as they are to rally. That same logic is used both ways for his firing as well.

Commits would now have the official info so they can decommit

Press conferences and national media become laberous and embarrassing

Butch and Sexton have to agree to this

List goes on

Only watched about two minutes of the game last night and can’t say I was disappointed that I didn’t watch more.

Instead of getting my emotions thrown all out of sorts, I went out, had a good time, and just now checked the final score.

If you are worried tensions are high and more fights are possible, it is a good way to get everyone to contain themselves out of fear of ejection.

no it's not. its not justifiable at all. you punish 150+ people for not doing anything wrong in that they are at the discretion of the ref to be allowed to be on the sideline even if it's a minor, common situation that does not alone warrant an ejection. It's a farce

I think it's fine. But I think it should only apply to fighting. Not standard operating procedure personal fouls on the ejection

Correct.

the rule doesnt apply to just fights. the refs stupidity at the beginning put the crew in a bad situation and they had no choice. the ejection is automatic. standard operation personal fouls are included in that from the beginning so the error is still on a lazy officiating crew for inappropriately administering the blanket unsportsmanlike.

My optimism is coming from a plan that is being followed.

I am not hearing anything positive to report now. It is business as usual.

Which was always part of the plan.

I am not riding on the promises of poster x or poster y and that helps me keep a level head.

Nothing has changed on my end for over a month and that to me is comforting.

I have faith this will end well.

I like optimism; tired of the negativity. Can you tell us who you believe the next coach will be and when it will be announced? Maybe a list from which you believe the next coach will come?

I'm not trying to pull a bruin here.

But I don't really want to wait 15 minutes for them to go to the replay booth and asses subjective infractions on guys. Deciding who did enough to get penalized and who didn't.

I agree that it's lame to see somebody be ejected for a late hit when they weren't involved in the brawl.

I think maybe there should be a new foul for fighting that is seperate from field of play personal fouls

Don’t worry about it.

The end is inevitable. Just not on our timeline.

All this Sky is falling will clear and order will once again be restored.

I don’t have patience and I can see that you all don’t either so that’s why this is so frustrating.

Better days are coming.

This does nothing for me, and it's not directed at you but, if there doesn't currently exist some semblance of precidence to can his a$$, then when will there?

Currie is hurting the program by keeping him and prolonging the misery. And entertaining any idea of keeping him is complete and utter incompetence and negligence of his position as AD.

100% agree. They have to differentiate things like a fight vs pushing after play vs taunting etc.

I also think they should go back to a 5 yard and a 15yard face mask. Also spot fouls on PI.

at this point, I think he has demonstrated loyalty to prospeciltove coaches. the firing isn't a debatable topic. its not a quick trigger at this point. its late, if anything and has created a very toxic environment for the student athletes.

SBV is optimistic about something he's heard about Gruden but I don't buy it.

Allow yourself to imagine riding this thing out to November, going 4-8, losing every recruit worth keeping, then trotting Chad Morris out to the podium on December 1st.
