100% agree. Those refs should be sanctioned (fined and suspended) for that. They effectively just changed the rules of the game by doing that—it’s unacceptable. Not to mention the fact that about 15 guys came off the UK bench to start a fight and nobody that I saw came off the UT bench, but every UT player got an unsportsmanlike anyway. Insanity.

Honestly, I think he finishes out the season.

I do. I hate that, but I do.

Wyoming was Fulmer's Waterloo. Butch seemingly has had two; SC and now UK. Dude is made of f'ing teflon, or at least that's the appearance the AD has given him.

It's infuriating.

Fair enough but if either way we end up with chad Morris, does it really matter when Butch was fired? You cannot listen to the fans if you are an owner or an AD. Just gotta hope that curry has a plan and is doing research. No need to be furious of no firing yet. Firing a coach mid season has no connection to being more likely to land the right or even the biggest name.

Currie and Co are watching our program being run through the mud nationally and doing nothing about it... That is more telling than most think. They either have their plan locked in place and are willing to take the short-term heat and come out on top at the end, or they don't know what they are doing and are screwing this up royally...
GA is a must win game for Butch
SC now is a must win game for Butch
We have to have a close game with AL for Butch
KY is now a must win game for Butch
SoMiss is now a must win game for Butch
WTF.
F the UT Admin and AD at this point.
All of us are going to have breaking points at different times during this 'ish show, but mine is this morning.
FL has gotten more done in one week than we have in almost two years, and we just seem nationally to be playing a giant game of grab ass... totally embarrassing.

Well.

Things to look forward too.

We will be a beast on offensive next year.

Running game will be a very strong point and JG is maturing like Dobbs.

Need a WR coach bad though.

Defense, I don't know.

Taylor Bituli DK Gaulden and Warrior and going to be legit but besides them we drop off quit a bit. We can presume Tuttle will be back to who he was and Kahil isn't just that dominating of a player. Shamburger has shown promise but is that his ceiling?

But what if coaches decline us because they don't like the way Butch was pushed out early and not supported properly?

I don't care about perception. I care about reality.

I'm waiting to judge the AD when the hire is made and not a minute before.

Butch has been fired since Georgia. AD gonna take its time and quietly get their guy in place. That’s better than the embarrassing public rejections and watching coaches leverage your opening for a raise right?

Early? Who out there thinks we haven't given Butch an ocean of grace? We're 3-5, 0-5 in the conference in year 5.

If a coach out there thinks we haven't given Butch enough support because we fired him under these circumstances, then they're not the guy for the job.

It's in line with Currie's personality. He doesn't feel a need to answer to those he considers outside the process. He will either make a good hire-- or not-- on his timeline.
